[D8LA] Where the Magic Happens

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah, well, I've got fast hands." Manny waved them in the air. "I managed to put it out without you even waking up. The whole bed... pretty good, Leah." He grinned at her.

"One more room." He opened the door across from the bathroom, revealing a fairly small, but still larger than Leah's, bed. The room itself was similarly scaled, with enough room to open the door, and a teeny-tiny alcove that could be a closet. And, again, a poster of a gravball star on the wall.

"And yeah, I mean it." Manny said, smiling at Leah. "If you wanna. My small apartment is your small apartment."

[Leah kuso]

"Hmm...."

Leah looked thoughtful.

"I don't know..." she looked at Manny, before starting to smile.

"Oh go on then, you convinced me."

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah!" Manny pumped his fist in the air. "Alright!"

He grinned at her. "So, maybe tomorrow, or the day after that, I can help you move your stuff over. And then..." He spread his hands. "Well, I guess we'll be roommates, huh? As well as magic partners."

[Leah kuso]

"Let's say tomorrow, better to do it earlier right?"

Leah turned back to look at the bedroom, before looking back at Manny and saying "you sure you're ok with the couch?" with a teasing expression, before adding "oh and we can practice new routines here too, you have plenty of space in the living room!"

[Manny Donos]

"Tomorrow. Okay, sure." Manny agreed, nodding.

He grinned. "Me take the couch? How come I get the couch? I'm taller. You'd fit a lot better on it than I would." He stepped closer, the better to highlight the difference in their heights.

"And yeah, we can!" He sighed. "You'd be great for the cutting in half trick, but we really need another Twi'lek. Maybe we can figure out some other stuff. Can you juggle?"

[Leah kuso]

"Would you really make a lady sleep on the couch? I thought you were a gentleman" Leah batted her eyelids, still grinning "how mean!"

She shook her head at the question. "Never tried, so no idea. I can try and juggle though. Can you?"

[Manny Donos]

Manny laughed. "You're right. I wouldn't turn you away from the bed."

One eyebrow went up. "No problem. I'll show you." From his vest he pulled out, naturally, an egg. He started tossing it in the air. And then a second egg. And then a third.

He tossed one to Leah.

[Leah kuso]

"Wha?!" Leah said, surprised as she just caught the egg, almost dropping in.

"What's the big idea? Throwing eggs is no yoke you know!"

[Manny Donos]

Manny snorted laughter at that. "That was a good one, Leah. I might be the magician, but no one I know has your punning magic."

He began to juggle his two eggs with one hand. "Try tossing that a bit. Get the feel for it."

[Leah kuso]

"I blame your bad influence" Leah said with a chuckle, tossing the egg up and down in her hand. "I swear if this breaks I'll be so annoyed. Why do you carry so many eggs anyway? It's a bit weird."
