Jaxom knew where he would put a secret exit, and would be able to quickly make his way there.. but some of the troopers definitely noticed him acting strangely and made a break for him right away! Now he'd have to run!

Meanwhile, for the others, due to some of the troopers breaking away there was a bit of an opportunity. Two people can take advantage of the break in the line and try to run for it!

Jaxom:
Make an Athletics check at Average with a Boost due to trooper pursuers being stuck in the crowd.

Others:
Either through Stealth or Athletics at Hard. (Only one person may make each roll, so if someone attempts stealth the other must attempt atheletics)

He knew he had drawn their attention and raced to the back as fast as he could, faster than he'd ever run before.

Old wounds, the run was taxing on him and he felt it but he made it, fast and quick into the storage room. Checking one of the barrels, the one that seemed most likely, he found that it slid open into a tunnel. He'd barely had enough time but his speed afforded him to even close it behind him before he heard the door bust open.

No one else would be able to follow.. but Jaxom made it out.

[Tranq Sayzin]

Sol nods. He did have a bounty on his head after all, and he couldn't fault Nerra for the decision. Again, the innocents and trouble for Nerra made it a smart idea.

Still, something was bothering him. He waits until he's alone before he pulls out his commlink. He has Tranqs frequency from the other operation. "Tranq, are you there?"

"I'm here." He called over the comlink, looking to the terror and fear in the room. "I'm ready. Where are the weapons stowed. I'll need my spear."

[Fuff]

Fuff stalled, waiting for another opening, not being fast enough to follow Jaxom. He wasn't confident he could talk his way out, but if it were his only path, he'd try. But maybe it wasn't. Maybe there was a way to turn off the lights...

[Solork Tan]

"I'm here." He called over the comlink, looking to the terror and fear in the room. "I'm ready. Where are the weapons stowed. I'll need my spear."

"Up at the front." Sol pauses. "Umm...right by the door. Right where the troopers were, right?" Sol winces at the thought.

"There's plenty of civilians around. We can't act rashly." The word again goes unsaid.

[Tranq Sayzin]

"I'm here." He called over the comlink, looking to the terror and fear in the room. "I'm ready. Where are the weapons stowed. I'll need my spear."

"Up at the front." Sol pauses. "Umm...right by the door. Right where the troopers were, right?" Sol winces at the thought.

"There's plenty of civilians around. We can't act rashly." The word again goes unsaid.

"Also means we could be sneaky about it." He replied. "How many buckets can you see?" The killer shark was already assessing violent options.

[Solork Tan]

"Right here...none. Clem took me to a back room. I have been advised to "not do anything stupid". I resemble that remark" Sol replies drily

"So, if you need to funnel them, that looks like a kill room. But only if we have small enough numbers to do it quick"

[Ters Tii]

Up at the front of the room, Ters watched Jaxom's escape with an expression of (feigned) horror. "What does that man think he's doing?!" He turned back to the trooper. "Look, son, I'm a judge." He pulled out his ID. "Sworn to the service." Not strictly the Imperial service, but this guy didn't need to know that. "Why don't we expedite this? It rather looks like your fugitive is getting away."

Clem went into the back-room alone, having closed the door behind him. Meanwhile, the troopers continued to work through the crowds.

"They'll handle him, you just stay where you are, and wait your turn," he said, the other's near him were roughly handled as they were brought outside.

"What's the exit strategy Clem." Solork has his sword out and ready

Clem was busy going through boxes, data, piling them up together, "There isn't one," he said, "and you should put that away before you get yourself hurt. When the troopers come in here they won't be kind. Please, get back out there that they might not realize who you are. Anything is better than here," he said.

[Ters Tii]

Well and truly told, Ters melted back into the crowd, moving to the side of the Karkarodon, simply because he was the biggest fella in the bunch. He had basically no idea how to facilitate their escape when underlings weren't pointing the way to the leader, but he knew that if something was to happen, it would happen within.

[Jaxom Ursae]

Meanwhile, outside, Jaxom had made one of his poorer decisions. He'd circled back and was watching from the shadows. He was looking for an opportunity, something that might disrupt the operation. Maybe he could find a way to knock out the power or something.

Unfortunately, he wasn't as well hidden as he thought.

Jaxom circled around, catching sight of exactly what he needed. The power source that would let him shut out the lights.. unfortunately, the street was littered with troopers and they quickly found him again!

Now.. it was run or get caught, hopefully he'd make it out a second time!

Once more Jaxom got out of there, but sufficiently limbered up this time it was much more of a breeze.

[Tranq Sayzin]

"Too many buckets." Tranq messaged over his comlink to Solork. His yellow eyes focused on the moving white plasteel bodies, anger boiling beneath his scales. He had developed a taste for stormtrooper blood. It wouldn't be sated today. Or more so than already done in a previous timeslot.

He noted the Kel Dor who stood by him.

"They're gonna be rougher on us than they will on any human or near-humans." His voice was low, with that subsonic timbre of terror.

[Ters Tii]

The Kel Dor nodded slowly. "Yes, I rather think they will be." Then he looked up at the Karkarodon. "The one I was speaking to wasn't very interested in my being a judge, either. But here is the funny thing, my friend. I have the strangest feeling that, if we keep our heads, there is an opportunity here. We just must not let fear cause us to lose focus. They're counting on that."

At the front of the room a group of individuals being processed resists, declaring that the troopers will not touch them. All of them to a man are quickly beaten with Stun batons, but as was fear, the non-human of the group clearly got the worst of it as a few troopers didn't relent nearly as quickly as their fellows. Picking up the ones who couldn't walk they dragged them outside.

"You there," a trooper separated from the line with a few fellows, "approach, we're taking you outside," he said to Tranq and Ters.
