Strike Against the Tower [Day 7, ME]

Imperial controlled facility, this tower was built when the tower in the tower by the spaceport became too outdated and too small to handle the massive amounts of data that Kamda City sent and received.

Lysa shouted as she sprinted from the truck and did a power slide on her knees one eye closed she leaned back as she focused on her target as she slid and a concussion grenade landed square on a trooper's chest before the violent shock waves tore him and anyone near him to bits the explosion going off just as Lysa impacted a piece of cover with a wide giddy smile.

Their assault was total, and complete, all of the troopers lay dead save for the ones who no longer existed. For a second.. everything fell to silence.

Out of the truck the Onderonian came walking with a heavy bag strapped to his shoulder and a tool kit in his other hand. With the Chiss, Sev, walking behind him. They made their way to the tower proper. "Keep us covered for a bit, eh?" the Onderonian said as they passed by the group. Stepping over one of the bodies.

Together the Chiss and the Onderonian move into the tower and begin their work.

In the distance they could see the shimmer of help, distant, but coming quickly.

[Maintaining initiative, but take a few free rounds. Feel free to prepare defenses, make plans, or otherwise.]

Raven took one of the stims from her belt rather than the easily accessible pouches and applied it to herself. "Gotcha," she nodded to the specialists.

"Right, take up defensive positions with the barricades that are here. We might have time to reinforce them before the second wave comes."

They were able to get some reinforcements set up, cover to take, and explosives ready. Just in time, two Imperial transports were coming quickly racing into view. Overhead a pair of tie-fighters screamed by.

Stopping at Long the Transport's quickly began unloading their troopers, the battle was renewed!

Rushing off the transport the first group prepared themselves, running to cover as they exited and provided some covering fire. Taking aim and picking their targets, at this distance the Karkadon seemed the greatest threat. Firing on his position they didn't strike their target but they certainly flushed him out!

Flushed from the position behind the crates, he leveled the rifle after Raven opened fire. Comfortable in his shot, he reached through the Force again, sensing that same life cord between himself, and the oncoming group of troopers. The shot arced wide, however, it hit a nearby gas line, a jut of flame bursting out for a moment, sure to obscure the shots of the troopers.

With their vision obscured, the troopers at the other truck moved out. Disembarking they immediately started to fire on exposed Karkadon! Moving up after their initial volley gave them some room!

Lysa looked and saw people standing near her little present and shouted "Hold on to your hats and helmets!" before pressing the button. a second later a powerful explosion erupted from the ground, Lysa had made a few modifications to these explosive charges and the explosion was vibrant and colorful exploding in pinks, purples, blues, and reds. It was a violent firework display that rocked the transport and flung the troopers near it across the battlefield.

As she triggered the explosion she fired at the group that had decided to close in on them and unleashed a smaller but no less devastating explosion on them the plasma grenade melting armor and tearing apart troopers.

Lysa looked around the partially flaming battlefield with an unmistakable glint of excitement and joy as she surveyed the destruction.

Added to the explosion was the gas-line that Tranq exposed, the MASSIVE explosion rocked everyone and sent a smoke column spiraling high into the sky. All around them ash fell and the thick dark smoke from the ever burning fuel-line filled the area.Rocking the transports to a point that they shifted even on their treads.

Everyone else? Well.. almost everyone was lucky to be alive but a whole round is lost to every person on both sides. With the sole exception of those, the Chiss and the Onderonian, who were safely tucked away in the tower.

Inside the vehicle the sergeant yells over short-range comms, instructing the troopers to disembark immediately and get out there! Upon his orders they quickly disembark and are fresh and ready for the fight, if a bit entirely dazed. What they exit to find is the pandemonium left in the wake of the explosion. Trooper laminate and bodies scattered all over the battlefield. A raging inferno off to the side that towered high above them all and nearly scorched their skin merely by passing it.

Fighting through the smoke the first new wave of troopers came rushing out, firing off their blasters as they rushed forward. Striking Lysa with a deadly volley! Getting in closer they took some much needed cover before preparing to advance again.

Meanwhile, the other group follows suit. Though they can't make out who they're even shooting at, their shots go wide in the billowing smoke. Still, it provided enough cover fire for them to move directly up into cover.

Group 4 vs Lysa, Cover, Heat Exposure, Black Smoke: 3eP+2eA+2eD+5eS 1 success, 5 advantage

Raven grinned under her helmet. The smoke was just child's play to her upgraded gear, and the heat never bothered her anyway.

"Thanks for that line-up, Lysa," she said smoothly as she steadied her aim and fired off two deadly and accurate shots at the Imps, still using her body to give Tranq some cover until he could get into proper cover again.

Manny snatched up his blaster, aiming and firing again. He did his best to stay in the cover provided, even as his blaster bolts struck their targets.

The Karkarodon recovered, picking his spear-blaster back up. Taking a moment, feeling the connection to the troopers severed, he focused, on Group 5, feeling their life through the Force, and how it must end. The smoke made things a bit more difficult, the scanner goggles good for low light, but not really great for smoke. The blast lanced through, and he felt on trooper drop at the other end.

Lysa took the hit square on her shoulder but shook it off firing back at the group. Unfortunately too much smoke in her eyes means she couldn't aim properly.
