Sand Crawlin' (D4, Mid-Morning)

"Five people, they're moving the loot on a repulsor-sled of some sort." She pointed west-ward. "They changed direction that way. Could be our poking around last time was discovered... or they're being overly cautious."

"Might be more people wherever they've headed to."

[Claymore Frost]

"Well, if there are many, then we call in the cavalry once we can find them..." He helmeted head turned to Raven. "Or, we could go covert Ops."

[Solork Tan]

"I have a feeling we need to take them all out. After all we have to earn our keep, no?" Solork increases his pace. "Few or many, we have to find them first. I recommend capture if possible"

[Raven Cadera]

"If possible," Raven echoed, but she wasn't sure what they would be facing. Whoever they were, they had managed to get stolen armor from the troopers, so they weren't complete idiots.

"Westward then. That way."

[Honor]

Raven was able to follow the tracks and lead their team onward. For a while yet they walked until they came to an area where the repulsor lift seemed abandoned and the sand all around was disturbed in an odd circular pattern.

"I ain't found poodo..." The Karkarodon squinted as he looked through his goggles, the cloak draped around his heavy and broad shoulders.

Raven saw the shimmer in the sand, something must have moved across her line of sight but she couldn't see where it possibly would have gone. Still.. she felt it watching her from out there in the sand pit.

What they didn't see was the hand reaching up to Raven's back armor and pulling her back on the ground, "Easy, eaaasyy," the trooper said with his other hand up.

The other, stood behind Tranq wasn't about to believe he could do anything like that and just gave a little, "Get down big guy, easy now," he said.

For Tranq, the voice he heard from both men dressed as storm troopers was all too familiar.

"I think I see something over the--aaah!" She didn't expect to suddenly lose her footing.

Being dragged down and on her back, Raven angrily reached for her sword, cursing in Mando'a at the strangers.

That they didn't seem to have weapons drawn at them, gave her some pause as she got to her knees.

[Claymore Frost]

"Need a hand?" He stretches out an hand to help her up."And, I saw nothing, as far as sister and stuff..."

[Tranq Sayzin]

Hearing the words, feeling Raven get dragged down, in a blinding instant, the Spear-Rifle was drawn and readied, as the Karkarodon wheeled around to look at the troopers, his eyes narrowing.

"What's going on here!?"

Sol draws his sword, heading into the tunnel.

"Did you guys get started without me?"

"We're gonna need you to calm down, we're on your side here," one of the troopers said, "and you," he indicated Claymore, "get down now. Unless you wanna disturb our friend over there?" the trooper indicated the pit.

She gave a wave to Claymore to show she was fine.

Raven kept her voice low as she spoke. "Who in the blazes are you people? And what's going on here?"

[Honor]

"Just a few old soldiers trying to get by. Thing is, this desert here is always trying to kill me and my brothers, right now.. our problem, and I do mean our problem is whatever just knocked us on our asses and went back under the sand," he said, indicating the area where Raven could feel the eyes watching her, where she saw the movement.

[Tranq Sayzin]

Tranq did not calm down. His eyes wide as he heard the voice. The same voice. The same ones in his nightmares. He gripped the spear blaster tightly.

"Clones..." he growled the word, eyes narrowing.

[Solork Tan]

"Oh, did you pick a cave that was made by a burrowing creature that's going to come out and eat you all?" Sol makes no move to shield the blade. "Come now, we've all been there."

The Merc looks around. "Right?" He coughs. "Does it sense vibration?"

Clones?!

Raven wasn't sure if that was good or bad, but... for now, they did not seem hostile, and if these were the clones of Jango Fett, then she supposed that the two of them could've easily taken out half the group. At least.

Her visor turned back to what she saw moving in the sand. Or thought she had seen moving. "What is it?"

[Honor]

"Didn't quite get a look," the main speaker of the two continued. Though he matched eyes with Tranq as he felt the gaze tighten on him.

"Could be anything, knowing this desert. Been used for a lot of different things. As for the creature.. I don't think it's native," glancing to Solork, "but no, we elected not to use our usual route when Clacker over here found someone had been stumbling through our old campsite. Figure that's because of you?"

Solork felt no need to lie. "You kicked up some dust. The Imps were confused as to how their security procedures were bypassed."

Clones fit the bill. His family had killed plenty, but always lost in exchange.

"But I think we have something to deal with first"
