[D2, ME] Operation Partycrash (tag Roxi and Varina)

[Roxi]

"What do you mean what's wrong with me," Roxi looked confused, "they're pointing weapons at us and we just..."

Something clicked.

"...oh yeah, we were just helping this guy."

She pointed at the unconscious fellow, ruining the ruse by identifying the wrong person.

[Varina Ordo]

Varina shrugged. She glanced over to Tybalt and gave a small wave. "Call it your charm. Let's get outta here," she remarked, not giving too much heed to all the ruckus.

[Tybalt Pokosta]

"Give me a moment," Tybalt said, walking to one of the guards. Talking for a moment only to be brought to Mallory and onward.

(Small time-skip)

While the not-so-nice guy has been ousted from the club, Mallory has seen to her men getting the unconscious and beaten man off to the hospital, and the rest of Pokosta's friends having been sent on their way.

Pokosta returns with an escort from Mallory who shrugs and then heads back to Vex.

"Now that was exciting, wasn't it," he said with a killer-smile. "Just who do I owe the pleasure of your acquaintances," he said.

[Varina Ordo]

"I dunno, seems like that guy was picking a fight with you and I wanted to jump in," she lied, "It was as good as an excuse as any to get into a scrap too."

She looked to the other two. Maybe they had a better idea to get him to go to his dad? A fake party? Would he trust a teenage girl saying they were going to a party?

[Solork Tan]

"Tybalt Pokosta." Solork rounds on the man who is acting quite casually for someone who had just been punched. "Your father summons you. We are the ones assigned to ensure your safe transport."

Solork waits a beat. "Wait, were we supposed to lie? It seems unnecessary"

[Roxi]

While Solork was waiting for an answer to his rhetorical question, Roxi smiled excitedly and held out a hand to Tybalt.

"Hi, I'm Roxi. What he said."

[Leah kuso]

Leah, who kind of was left awkwardly watching as everything was resolved, looked at the people who remained with a curious look. She was certain they were the ones that started it, but if Mallory had let it slide there wasn't much she could do.

She didn't know any of the others, so just kind of remained nearby watching.

[Varina Ordo]

"What? If it were that easy, why would his dad ask us to find him?" Varina blurted out. She looked back to Tybalt and shrugged. "Unless you're going to prove me wrong."

[Tybalt Pokosta]

"You," he points at Varina, "I like you, so casual with the way you lie. Smart," he smiled, tapping his head by the temple. Looking to Roxi and Solork. "Is it urgent or do we have time for a drink or two first?" he asked, indicating the empty booth.

[Mallory]

Leah, who kind of was left awkwardly watching as everything was resolved, looked at the people who remained with a curious look. She was certain they were the ones that started it, but if Mallory had let it slide there wasn't much she could do.

Mallory walked by Leah on her way back, "Dropped a load of credits, Vex let it slide," she shrugged, and finished returning to Vex's side.

[Roxi]

She retracted her hand since, apparently, he wasn't going to shake it. She then looked between her companions when he asked about the drink.

"Well... maybe we could? IF," she placed an emphasis on that word, "If you can tell us why the deal with you and that guy was?"

[Tybalt Pokosta]

"His father is a slime-ball not worth my time and so was he," he said, looking to Roxi as if this information was clearly obvious. With the shiner on his cheek pointed at her the evidence, to him, appeared clear.

"I merely reminded him of this, because he needed reminding," he said.

[Roxi]

"Yeah but like," she clearly didn't get it, "what were you guys talking about?"

[Tybalt Pokosta]

"Wouldn't you prefer to speak of this over a drink?" he asked, indicating the booth.

[Roxi]

"The drink is the reward for telling us," she said with a self-satisfied nod. She was so very clever, using this carrot-on-a-stick to get him to tell them what he was doing here.

[Varina Ordo]

"Wouldn't your dad have some really good labels?" Varina asked, genuinely curious. The guy looked like he could buy one of those labels on a bottle that costed a lot. She wasn't entirely sure why a label would cost so much but apparently adults liked stickers.

[Tybalt Pokosta]

"I.." he shook his head, "Fine, fine. Let's go see my father," he put up his hands. Pointing at Roxi, putting a finger right against her clavicle, "You have to learn a lot about negotiation. Maybe when we go speak with my father he'll be so happy to see me he might give you a lesson." Pokosta walked on toward the stairs but pivoted and turned toward them, "but I doubt it," he said before continuing along.

[Leah kuso]

Mallory walked by Leah on her way back, "Dropped a load of credits, Vex let it slide," she shrugged, and finished returning to Vex's side.

Leah nodded. She knew how it worked, and didn't argue. Taking a step back, she made her way to the bar and got her drink, keeping an eye on the troublemakers but let them do what they were doing.

[Roxi]

It was in that moment, that Roxi decided she didn't like the guy. First he had ignored her offered handshake. And now he poked at her? And worst of all, she wasn't allowed to punch him in the face.
