Another Day at the Bar [Day 1, Early Evening]

[Munchfronta]

"Yeah, uh, okay..." Manny cleared his throat. "Does anyone know just how much a speeder costs to rent? I'm sorta between gigs right now. Seems like my credits have been..." he held up a credit chit, then made it vanish with a flourish, "-disappearing."

He looked at Munch. "We might be able to get one at a discount." Stealing, of course. "But what about a lifter droid? Can't just grab one of those off the street."

"Yeah, a five finger discount for a speeder is probably for the best. Speeder market is out of control these days. As for the lifter droid, well as you guys say, lotsa warehouses in the city, lotsa droid. No reason one of them couldn't be persuaded to help out a little."

[Manny Donos]

"Just so long as it didn't talk afterwards." Manny frowned. "Are warehouse droids chatty? I feel like they would be. Just lifting things in the warehouse, nothing to do but talk to the other warehouse droids."

"You could probably erase that bit from its memory." Jyvress adds, "Though its both risky and a bit cruel to the droid."

Jarvis grabbed up his glass, glanced to the Mirialan who read his question from his expression and shrugged, then proceeded to walk some steps away before turning. "It appears to me you have all had some wonderful planning done, and more to go.. please, don't allow me to disturb you any longer. You will find you have my contact information," he nodded toward where it was left, "and should you have any questions of where to deliver or anything else please don't hesitate."

"For me.. for tonight, I do believe there is a man who left some time ago and hasn't return, I intend to go find him. Good luck telling your story," he said with a grin, walking off into the main section of Favna.

"Is it?" Manny considered that for a moment. "Maybe we just better get one that doesn't talk, then." He took a drink from his mug.

He set it down with a sigh. "That it, then? Acquire a speeder, find a quiet droid willing to go along with it? Sounds easy enough." He shrugged.

[Fuff]

Fuff accepted the Mirialan's departure without regrets. All good things in the world where fleeting. He nodded at the following comments. "So it looks like Mrs BB and I are going to take care of the droid. How is Mr Munch going to contribute?" The Farghul eyed the Chadra-Fan again.

"My boy here's good at mechanical stuff." Manny said, sitting back casually in his chair. "Speeders, droids, loadlifters, weird crates, you name it. Anything to help the job go smoother, I'm all for."

"Yeah, I'm something of a prodigy when it comes to all things technical. And I'm the sneakiest most discrete person you've ever seen."

"Then how do you know they're the sneakiest? You gonna trust the word of a sneak?"

"Well..." Jyvress shook her head, "Never mind. Let's just leave it at...I probably am aware of sneakier people."

She smiles, "If it makes you feel better none of them were as pleasant or good-humored as yourself."

[Manny Donos]

"See?" Manny grinned. "I told you my bro is the best."

He glanced at BB curiously. "I gotta admit, I didn't peg you as someone who knows a lot of sneaky people. But I guess if you weren't, well... you know." He gestured across the table at where their employer had been, and again at their little group.

[Fuff]

"Everyone here is keeping up some appearances, Luke. I think this is one of the reasons why we can cooperate. I suggest we don't ask too many personal questions while on the work, as a rule, else we may find reasons to pick a bone." Fuff straightened a bit, with the distractions gone. "I think we agree that if it goes smoothly and everyone gets their share it'll leave each of us better off than we're now. So let's stick to that, mrrr?"

He stretched a bit. "Not that I wouldn't like to know each of you better! If we like how we work together, we just might do it again. I am sure sooner or later other odd jobs may fall into my lap and I'd like to have some good collaborators to call upon."

"Oh." Manny's face fell a little. "Well, okay, if that's how you wanna do it, that's cool."

There was a short pause.

"So, what are you guys doing later?" He asked, smiling.
