"I found.." he said, thinking behind the mask. "I don't know what I found." Another thought.. another.. he got up, placed his hand on the table and stayed there for a moment.

"I'm leaving now," he said, his voice sounded.. different.

Leah looked confused.

"You don't have to go. Stay, have breakfast with me. Please? I quite enjoy your company, even without a name to go with the company. I feel like we have a lot in common, and that's nice."

He turned to answer but.. something about what she said, he left. Quickly. Out the door and far away, some place he could think.. maybe...

Leah blinked, watching the man run away.

What was that all about...

After waiting a few moments, she did the stupid thing - she slipped out and went after him.

He was fast, faster than her at making his way through the crowds by far, but if she was persistent she would be able to catch up.. eventually...
