He gave her a wry look. "I mean, I'm not saying you need help, or that you need to ask or anything. But if you needed help..." Manny shrugged again. "I would, okay? It's not a big deal. I'm just saying I would."

He looked at her a moment longer, then shrugged. "I hope I don't need it, but I'll take you up on that, if it comes to it. Right now, I'm not on anyone's bad side. At least, not that I know. Still... thanks, Raven." He smiled again.
