Let's Pass the Box [EN3]

[Manny Donos]

Manny seemed perfectly cheerful as he followed.

The comely Zabrak lead them down the street, through an alley, and down a few more streets before they reached their destination. Giving a quick kinda knock the door she glanced over at Jyvress and smiled, winked, and then the door opened and she beckoned them in. Up the stairs passed a few people talking the music from up above could be heard already.

Finding themselves in a private party, the music blasting and the lights dimmed, they walked passed a few couples doing what couples do and some people dancing while a few just tried to talk. However, beyond that, in the back room is where she brought them. In here, Jarvis sat on a bed and grinned widely as he saw his new friends entering.

"Any trouble?" he asked, quite happily.

[Fuff]

"Nothing insurmountable." Fuff said quickly. "As you can see."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Angry wild life but Mr Gib proved to be as charming with beasts as he is with people." Jyrvess allowed herself a small nervous chuckle, "The crate was still sealed as near as we could tell."

[Jarvis]

"Is there any reason it wouldn't be?" Jarvis looked to the comely Zabrak and gave her a wink. This, apparently, was some kind of signal as she went on her way.

[Manny Donos]

"Not really." Manny shrugged. "Is this your place? It's nice."

He bobbed his head a little in time to the music. He actually had pretty good rhythm.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Not really but I thought reassurance was needed all the same. Call me paranoid." Jyrvess shrugs with a sheepish smile.

[Jarvis]

Jarvis shrugged, "No, it is not my place but on a kinda loan.. friend of a friend of a friend of a thinly veiled acquaintance of an ex-lover kinda thing."

"Still, you brought me back my crate and.. if the timing is right it should be downstairs now with all that walking you folk did. So, shall we go see it?"

[Fuff]

Fuff nodded, though he wondered how he had stopped monitoring the crate himself. Must have been the club vibe.

[Manny Donos]

"Sounds great!" Manny said, grinning. He tried to play it cool... but, well, he did really want to know what was in the box.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess nodded, "After you Mr. Jarvis." She stood in between her two compatriots.

[Jarvis]

Leading them down the stairs they took a sharp turn, another sharp turn, Jarvis parted some party-goers with a smoothly accepted, "Ladies," and then passed on through to a staircase that lead to a garage.

In the garage the rather large crate had been moved into the rooms center and Jarvis, giving a quick gentle drag of his fingers across the Zabrak woman's lower back he grabbed a crowbar. Thrusting it into the top of the box he pried it open and revealed a whole lot of booze.

"This.." he said, pulling one of the very many bottles, "is going to go over well with my friends upstairs. Here," he tossed on of the bottles to Manny. "Take a nice whiff and drink of that."

Walking around the perimeter of the box he checked to see that it was, indeed, not opened. "Looks like you all passed the test, well done."

[Fuff]

"I must add that the group has shown a remarkable collaborative potential as well." Fuff nodded appreciatively at the other booze-retrievers. "So whatever is the true job, we may well be up to the task."

[Manny Donos]

Shrugging, Manny did as he was told. He glanced at the label, then opened it, taking a sniff.

"Wowwww..." Manny blinked, shaking his head. "That is... definitely alcohol. Uh, full body. Warm bouquet." He said, entirely at random. He offered the bottle around.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess takes a sip of the alcohol, after observing Manny to make sure it's not drugged. "Do we still get paid for this part in the job...."

[Munchfronta]

Munch scratches his head. Humans drank warm wine?....That explained a lot actually. Still, better than finding a bunch of stolen watches in there and realising competition had rolled into town.

[Jarvis]

"Six hundred to each of you, I think that's good enough for you picking up my groceries. Now, the real money is in the next job.. but we'll chat about that in a couple weeks time, keep your ears down to the grind, ya get me? Big score potential, we'll all walk away from this like kings.." he glanced to Jyvress, "or Queen's, to your preference."

"Something like.. ten thousand per, I'm thinking, quite a bit of wealth for just a few hard ours of work don't you think?"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess's eyes widen, "That's a heck of a payday." She takes another sip of the bottle, "Any details to help us prepare, Mr. Jarvis?" She glances to the boys.

[Jarvis]

"All in due time, my dear, all in due time," he winked, grabbed a couple bottles and tucked them under his arms

"I'll send word when I'm ready to talk."

[Fuff]

"Sounds golden." Fuff remarked.
