Varina slid down her goggles and kept up the pace. She wasn't going to mess up her first job... not yet, at least.

Lysa holds out her launcher and smiles to the group "You guys ready to have some fun!" she yells before firing a plasma grenade into the room they were told to hit. It breaks through the window and the bright flash and explosion of energized cells were surely to ruin whoever was in that room's day.

Lysa imitated explosion noises and looked to the group her violet eyes wide with excitement and sparkling in the flames now coming from the room from what ignitable fabrics went up in the explosion "Did you guys see that?!"

The chaos caused by such an explosion would surely help someone, just probably not whoever was in that room.

There was the breath of silence outside when the grenade fell into the room. Inside the Weequay were busy preparing their weapons, grenades, all of the armaments they could think of needing for this quick job. Get in, kill Vex, get out. It should have been rather easy, a quick job and then go home back to the Hutts where they could try to get ahead of their peers. However, as they sat there preparing for the day a crash came through their window. One of them slowly got up from his seat to look at the center of the bed where the object landed just as it started rapidly flashing a green color.

The resulting explosion set off the other grenades and devices stacked inside of the room. Resulting in an incredible explosion that shook the building and sent air rushing passed the attackers outside. Lysa's hair was blown up and back in the rush as she felt the welcome heat of the blast grace her skin from where she stood.

For a solid few seconds their was deafening silence and then the hornets nest awoke. Weequay from a room some doors down stumbled a little getting out of their room but they found their feet and swung over the balcony or ran down the stairs. They rushed forward, blasters in hand, and started firing on Lysa. Hitting her in the shoulder with one of their bolts.

While the others, from a room near to the left, they came staggering out. Holding their heads, their stomachs, and resting against the structures that could still support them. They'd need a few seconds to catch up to everything.

Quick update/recap:

Group 1 is at Medium from Lysa and the rest of the crew.
Group 2 is dead.
Group 3 is at short.

??? is still unseen.

Now, with the blazing inferno, the light from the flames blankets the area immediately around it. Allowing the PC's who are attacking toward it to negate the setback from the darkness. While, the NPC's, attacking out still suffer the effects.

Varina blinked. There was a pretty big boom and now there were blaster bolts coming at them. She took a breath and then threw her own grenade in there.

With the blast, one of the Weequay was caught in it totally. Sending his corpse falling to the ground underneath the rain of shrapnel from the grenade. Another got caught on the cheek, but it seemed superficial as he was still ready for more fighting in moments.

Seeing that Varina's grenade didn't quite finish the job, Raven rushed in with long strides as she raised her sword in two hands, to bring it down in a vicious whirlwind slice.

Rushing in, one Mandalorian backing up the other, Raven's slash finished the job quite effectively. Cutting down not just one, but both of the Weequay weakened by the repeated blasts. Standing alone over the Weequay Raven stood tall and felt as heavy blaster-bolts landed around her from the balcony.

"Mandalorian!" the Trandoshan shouted from above. "What brings one of your kind here!?" the Trandoshan hissed.

The rifle spear was readied beneath the Karkarodon's arm. When the Trandoshan made his appearance, Tranq slowed his breathing. Aiming, taking all the time in the world. The blaster bolt launched into the Trandoshan, announcing the presence of the shark man to the frey.

"You talk too much for a killer." Tranq muttered beneath his breath.

Taking the shot to the side the Trandoshan snarled, glancing furiously down at Tranq. "Hurry up, get in there," the Trandoshan shouted at the Weequay that were finally coming to from the original blast.

Tranq didn't say anything else. Even as his last shot had caused him some mild discomfort, he aimed again, and breathed out as the shot connected with the Trandoshan.

Throwing around his blaster, the Trandoshan snarled as he fired a quick volley at Tranq. Wishing nothing more than to see the Karkadon dead and the kill to appease the score-keeper. However, even he could tell now that his life was waning and felt the weight in his limbs as he tried to get them to operate as he bid. Each breath causing him to sink lower to the ground as he fought to hold on, laying there he began to find his strength.

Backing up the Trandoshan the Weequay jump down from above, landing in a sprawl below the walk above. Moving into position closer to Tranq they too open fire on the Karkadon. In a flury of blaster-bolts from their heavy blaster pistols Tranq feels the burn as the first shots make a connect but is saved as the remaining bolts lose their accuracy and pepper the surrounding area instead.

Raven raised an arm to cover her visor as she ran full sprint towards that short staircase that led up to the Trandoshan above them.

"Your points are meaningless against me, Trandoshan!" she sneered as she jumped the last step, bringing her sword down at him in a powerful arc.

For a moment the Trandoshan's eyes flashed open, he gained his senses back and then he was struck and the light fell from him. With his clawed hand falling to the ground he rested his head back eternally.

While down below, a concussion grenade landed among the Weequay knocking one out cold and the other somewhat senseless as he held himself against a nearby vehicle.

Varina moved in and expertly diced the last combat ready Weequay, the other seeing the decimation that was before him simply dropped to his knees and put his hands up in surrender. He was much too weak, and much too frail, to continue the fight.

Around them the building burned, the bodies laid scattered, and none but the one who surrendered seemed to move or breathe. They were utterly successful. A hit even the Hutts would have been proud of if it wasn't their people lying dead.

[Upon notifying Vex, all those who partook in clearing this Hutt hit-squad receive 2250 credits in their accounts or delivered to a secure location.]

Varina looked to the corpse, looked to her blade, and then looked at the exploded giblets. This was what battle was like, nothing quite like the holovids. And yet...

She seemed to hold in her guts. After all, what would her mother think if she was going to be squicked out by some dead thugs?

The young lady knelt down, wiping her blade off with a dead man's rags. Her face mask was more helpful than concealing her face; she didn't have to smell the blood either.
