"You don't know cats, they're brave when they're chasing mice" Leah said, trying to look around and failing. She even stumbled over something going into a room that was pulling her in, but she couldn't see what was in there.

There was silence.

Cold, and silence.

This was wrong. Everything about this was wrong. Nothing made sense.

"I can feel..." she started saying to herself, before she looked at the guard that came with her. "Wait, I saw something over there" she pointed to the room over from the one she was in "what was that?"

The guard wasn't there.

I wonder where he went...

Something weird was going on. It reminded her of the field.

I guess I should try that again.

Leah closed her eyes, taking a deep calming breath, and pushing anything else out of her mind. Just letting her instinct and gut feeling guide her.

[Arwen]

"You know," the voice came. Menace followed with it, like the field she tried to remember she could feel anger and hate. Directed not at her, but something else, someone else, in her minds eye it wilted the grass and the crops. A malice for the world etched an image in her mind and snapped her back to reality.

"I never really expect these traps to work," he said, his cadence was smug but his voice tired. "You would think that eventually Jedi would learn to avoid such obvious snares like a plague..." he stepped out into the room in front of her, looked out of a window. Armor strapped underneath a cloak with a thick dark helmet obscuring any and all of his features. Only some sense of what his voice sounded like made it through the vocoder.

[Leah kuso]

I don't like this. It tastes bitter.

She opened her eyes to look at the man standing in front of her. At least she thought it was a man.

"So...there isn't a Jedi here? It was a trap to find one? Why?" Leah said, a little curious "I thought they were all gone. Wait, you made this house feel all scary to attract a Jedi?"

[Arwen]

"Scary? I find it rather pleasant here.." he said, looking out to the night sky above. "Silent, peaceful. But no.. I did nothing to the house, I just let leak that there was a Jedi located here and positioned some guards around the property. Let the people do the rest of the work to bring a Jedi... you, to me. Really.. it's a surprise there are any of you left with how easy this was but I digress.."

[Leah kuso]

"But it feels like dying flowers in here, that's not nice" Leah rubbed her arms, feeling quite chilly. "also I'm not a Jedi. I'm sorry, I was looking for my cat. Orange tabby. He's not here thought so I can like...go and pretend I didn't see you if that helps?"

Her mind screamed get out of here. She couldn't help but ask though.

"Is there really a Jedi on this planet?"

[Honor]

"You claim you are not one.." he says, turning and approaching her slowly. "Yet.. I feel it, that presence. It's within you if.. dimmed, somehow darker.." he ponders as he looks at her, the darkness of his visor enveloping.

[Leah kuso]

Leah backed away a little. "Sorry, wrong girl. I'm not a jedi. Never even met a Jedi. No idea what you're talking about mister...I didn't catch your name."

[Arwen]

Leah's words brought him from his reverie, "Going somewhere?" he asked, the smirk was evident through his voice.

[Leah can make a break for it, Coordination for taking shortcuts at Average and/or Athletics at average to get away as quickly as possible. If she succeeds at one of these she may attempt an Average Stealth check to hide out and hope he loses her trail or continue to book it.]

"Sorry uh...gotta find my cat. Good luck with your Jedi hunt!"

Leah quickly turned to run for it, but she was neither quick nor knowing the way around in the dark and quickly got herself lost

[Arwen]

Leah made a break for it, though she nearly hit the floor when she tripped over the outstretched leg of the officer. If she had enough time to notice, he was only unconscious. However, in that time the man in black had walked up into the doorway. "You lookin' for the exit or something?" he asked, chuckled a little.

"I'm honestly curious to see how far you get with the guards outside," he shrugged. "Better than staying here though, I'm supposed to kill you."

[Leah kuso]

"Ow..." She muttered to herself, standing up slowly and turning to the nasty man.

"Why? I don't understand. I don't even know you, and I'm not this Jedi you're looking for. You don't need to kill me, I'm just a local girl. A dancer. I can just like...go and forget I ever saw you. Win win right?"

[Arwen]

"Not really supposed to be here so.. you know... witnesses," he shrugged.

[Leah kuso]

Leah took another half step away, her mind looking for something.

"You said you could feel something. Maybe that's a good thing? Like you were supposed to find someone who is not a Jedi but feels that way? It's a good sign? What did you mean anyway, what could you feel?"

[Arwen]

"Alright," he sighs, then raises his hand. Leah feels a sudden pull and is thrown forward, toward the man. The force of it throwing her down onto her knees and skidding the last few inches right up beside an ignited lightsaber. Crimson in color it hummed with a fury beside her neck as he started speaking slow, "Look, it's become painfully obvious you're not the person I was hoping for. I've given you far too many opportunities to leave and you just.. keep.. asking.. questions," he said, tired.

"Now, are you going to be good and scamper off like the bum-local you are or not?"

[Leah kuso]

Leah had never experienced anything like this. Being pulled by an invisible rope towards a glowing weapon that felt both terrifying and familiar. She struggled to move from the grip, looking up at the man, trying to calm her breathing.

"I...have been told I ask too many questions in the past."

She tried to move and stand.

"I just wanted to know what you meant by something you felt. I don't know why but I think you have the same gut feeling instinct that I do, even if yours is more...red. B-but I'll go! Thank you mister mask sir. I won't cause any more trouble."

[Arwen]

The man disengaged the lightsaber, "Go, now, and quickly."
