"Whoever they are, they've hurt ours. We'll do worse to them." There was steel in her voice as she spoke, fully ready to return the favor tenfold to the one responsible.
"If Tiroc said she was strong enough to hold out, I'll believe in her too... uh... I don't think I caught your name...?"

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)

"Dex," she groaned, "call me Dex, now get out there and find Tiroc already."
Praxton stood, readying his rifle, "On your lead, Sister."

"You'll be alive when we see you next time, Dex," she gave a nod to the foundling and got a move on. Back, back to the point where the tracks have diverged.
And Raven hoped she wouldn't miss that one stimpack too badly.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
"You can bet your hide," Dex said, settling herself back against the rock for the wait.
Following the tracks further into the cave, they found it split and went out another way. Out there was surely where Tiroc had gone. However, he'd made significant attempts to conceal his footing.
They'd need to be quiet, [Stealth at Average, Boost for Environment] but also try and find the trail, [Perception or Survival at Hard, Setback for Environment].
Otherwise, they'd just have to put in the legwork and try to locate him the blunt way.

Raven breathed in deeply, and the exhalation that followed was a bit shaky as she took point again, to prove herself that she wasn't just a lost kid looking for help. She was already a capable Mandalorian.
Moving quietly in the terrain was easy. Child's play to any Mandalorian child that had began learning from their parents at a young age. Tracking Tiroc was a bit more challenging, but Raven stayed true on the course.

Approaching within the underbrush, Raven, with Praxton behind her, was witness. Another Mandalorian, at least one who wore their armor, though it was marked with white, stood over Tiroc who grasped feebly at a profusely bleeding wound. They were exchanging words.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Raven felt... rather confused! Why was there another Mandalorian here, fighting what she assumed was Tiroc?!
She tried to creep closer, to hear what they were saying, but also readying herself to jump in to stop them from killing eachother.

Vigilance or Cool for initiative? Trying to observe a little before charging out!

"You fight like a coward, Saxon," Tiroc said with venom in his voice. From where Raven was she could barely hear them over a whisper.
"You die like an animal, traitor," the Mandalorian marked white replied. Returning his rifle to his back and let it hang on the sling. Retrieving a blade from his thigh.

Raven knew it was time to act. An enemy had come all the way here, and hurt one of their numbers. That he was changing weapons was her opening!

Hearing Raven make her move, the Saxon turned quickly toward her. Noticing then that Praxton was behind her. Surrounded, like a fool, he swore to himself and made his way into the trees. Sliding the knife back into it's sheathe on his leg.

"Oya!" Raven shouted as she came dashing out of the bushes, her long legs quickly catching up to the white-armored Saxon. The vibroblade in her hands cut dangerously close to the fleeing opponent, as she tried to rush him down with all her weight into the movement.

Instead of striking true with her blade Raven's body crashed against the Saxon's sending them both to the ground, but Raven with the momentum to quickly place herself back up on her feet. Saxon, however, had a different trick up his sleeve and pulled his blaster. Shooting quickly as he turned over the shot went wide and scorched a nearby tree, but he'd started getting her dialed in.
Pushing himself up, he made for his escape again.
Praxton, meanwhile, ran to Tiroc's side and began to try and aid him as best as he could. Trusting in Raven's ability.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Her teeth gritted together as her opponent was slipping away, and as she stepped after him, this time her mother's sword connected. Closing the last distance between them, she lashed out with her hand and grabbed him by the shoulder to throw him down again, showing surprising strength for someone who was probably younger than the Saxon.

Grunting as he hit the floor the Saxon took the breath of a moment to look up into the sky above, "Fine," he said, his voice gruff. Feeling the sharp pain from where Raven nicked him. Pushing himself back to his feet he dropped the blaster to the ground and whipped his knife out again. Flashing the vibro-knife against the sunlight.
"I'll take two traitors if I have to today," he said, dashing in a strike that cut across Raven's side.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
The viciousness of the cut caught her by surprise, and for a moment quelled her battle spirit. Then the pain spurred her on with a wild strike that was easily dodged... but what followed up was a backhanded strike to the Saxon's wrist, forcing him to drop his weapon.
"YIELD!" Raven shouted angrily.

When Raven came in with a strike that forced him to drop the blade Saxon let his hands fall away and to the left with it, bringing in the momentum to change his hands position and strike Raven across the mask. Metal clashing against metal from the gauntlet he wore on his fist. Breaking a little room, he took the opportunity to sprint off again.

If not for the helmet, she would probably had felt that a lot more, but all the punch did was to make her neck throw back enough that she'd be feeling it later.
She needed to be mindful to not run off too far from Praxton and Tiroc, but damnit, this guy had angered her and with solid steps she closed the distance again. His more experienced defenses saved him from another vicious slash of the blade, and she cursed under her breath, but she thought she saw an opening for the next strike.

Dodging her blade, he used her momentum to bring her into his own strike but she was ready for it. Stopping herself with a hard heel into the ground. Ready for this the Saxon used the momentum to step passed and then hook a foot behind hers, shoving her backward onto the ground.
"Gar serim, udesii areutii," he said, glancing down before booking it again. Off into the forest once more on his escape.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Kriff. Tumbling down on her rear lost her a lot of momentum in giving pursuit. Even if she got back on her feet now, he'd be outpacing her. But it would also be unwise to go too far away from Tiroc and Praxton... and possibly be led into a trap or an ambush.
She got to her feet and watched him slip away into the forest, as she tried to piece together information from their fight to remember him in the future.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
As she got herself back to her feet, it wasn't too long until she heard the speeder start up and whiz off some ways beyond the trees. Among all the memories she'd hold of him, Raven could be certain she would see that Saxon again.
