[Dross Stargazer]

Dross was doing his job. Getting people drunk.

[Jaxom Ursae]

Ursae entered and looked around. The atmosphere of Favna was different than the Korso in a number of ways. It was easy to appreciate, regardless. He sat at a table near the outer edge.

[Dross Stargazer]

It was a slow moment, so Dross went over to the man. "What can I get ya?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Just some whiskey, on the rocks." he said. "How have things been going?"

[Dross Stargazer]

"Well." With that, he turns and leaves to fix the drink.

When he comes back, he decides to try this friendliness thing he has heard about. He speaks as he hands the drink. "Things have been picking up since Imperials started pulling off world." Whether he thought that was because people felt freedom or felt a sense of doom, Dross did not say. "It's a little slow now, but been pretty busy lately. Even had magician the other night. How are things on your end?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"The usual." he shrugged. "We're smaller and don't get as much business as you do, but what we do get is pretty steady. Locals looking for a peaceful drink or two."

He paid for the drink. "There definitely seems to be a sense of change in the air, though."

[Dross Stargazer]

Dross gives the man a nod. "Yep. Time will tell if it is good or not. What's your place?" Dross was curious. He hasn't gone to many other places. It feels somehow disloyal, even if he dislikes Neera.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Korso's." he answered. "Stop by sometime. No harm in comparing notes from time to time."

[Dross Stargazer]

Dross nods. "I will. I am still fairly new, so I haven't checked out much of the city yet." Maybe he could spy for Neera? It wouldn't be disloyal then, right?

[Jaxom Ursae]

"You should take a look around.." he tipped back the last of his whiskey. "It's always a good idea to familiarize yourself with the neighborhood, if not the city."

[Dross Stargazer]

"Yeah, well, I was hoping not to stay here long, but..." The bartender is supposed to listen to customer, not the other way around. "Um. well, another?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Please." he nodded after a moment of consideration. "It's a good idea, even for someone on the go. You never know when you might need a change of scenery."

[Dross Stargazer]

Dross nods and gets another. "So, what would suggest? Other than your own bar." Dross gives an actual smile. Damn. It's been so long, it kinda hurts.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Around here, The Resistance is good for picking up odds and ends. But, if your looking for anything fancy, you'd have to go over to Saphire Alley." Some thing about the way he said made it sound like a place he actively avoided. "The Lux is about as fancy as you can get. Not sure why a mini umbrella increases a drink's cost by a factor of five."

[Dross Stargazer]

"Hrmph" Dross shakes his head. "My dad worked for a corporations back on Coruscant. He said things cost what you make people they do."

[Jaxom Ursae]

He nodded. "Sounds about right. Mine built ships on Bellionas. We couldn't afford mini umbrellas."

[Dross Stargazer]

That got Dross's interest. "Oh. What did they build?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Freighters, shuttles, various transports, until the war."

[Dross Stargazer]

Dross hesitated. Did they change what they were making? Or did something happen to them? Well, best to play safe. "Good ships. They move a clunky, but it's nice to watch the stars from one."

[Jaxom Ursae]

He didn't offer to elaborate, taking a long sip of the whiskey.

"Kamda's not too bad of a place, for most."
