Despite everything, there was one thing important to note...Lux. Her place of work, which was still being rebuilt but almost done. So she made her way for what would normally be her evening shift, and decided to locate Mallory and Vex.

Inside a construction crew worked diligently on fixing the place up. Vex had a tight schedule if she wanted this place back up and running and oversaw the construction from directly above, in her office, looking down.

Notably, Mallory wasn't present yet.

Leah gave Vex a wave as she heads up to where the woman was.

"Hey. How's it looking?"

[Vex]

Vex stood, thought, didn't respond right away for whatever reason, "So far.. the club should be back in operation within a few weeks. Maybe one or two more."

"Oh nice. Hope it isn't gonna cost you too much" Leah said, turning to look over the work "how are you?"

[Vex]

"My wallet, and I, will survive," she said, seeming to pass a thought. "And you, my darling?" she turned from looking out the window and focused on Leah, "How are you?"

[Leah kuso]

"Less frozen than this time yesterday" Leah commented idly, before shaking her head "it's nothing, don't ask. Um...I'm ok. I think."

She sighed, turning to Vex.

"Can I ask something business related?"

[Vex]

"Of course, Darling, what do you want to ask?" she said.
