[D2, ME] Operation Partycrash (tag Roxi and Varina)

[Solork Tan]

"So, this is the place." Solork cracks his knuckles, looking over the entrance. "Does someone think they can charm the bouncer, or are we getting in the old fashioned way?"

[Roxi]

Roxi *definitely* didn't look like she could afford the drinks here. Nor did her attire meet 'fashion' standards. Whatever the hell those were, anyway.

"I mean," she shrugged, "I can just punch the bouncer, if that works?"

She figured the bouncer would probably not be as tough as the gundark, at least.

[Solork Tan]

Solork does a quick double take a the human who said that.

"Fair enough. He will likely be looking at me, if that will help"

[Varina Ordo]

"Oh I know the lady who runs this place. I think she does, anyways. We can probably just get in."

She shrugged. "And if he doesn't, then you can punch him."

[Roxi]

"Sounds good to me," she said with a cheery shrug. "There's not like, a minimum drink charge, right?"

[Solork Tan]

"I'll save The drink until the job is done. But I could use some lubrication." Solork chuckles at his own pun. "You should take point then Varina"

[Varina Ordo]

Varina shrugged and went on up. "Remember me from yesterday? I'm back with friends." She pointed back. "We'll be going in now."

[Honor]

At the door the bouncer looked over the group and then radio'd in to check. Faintly Mallory's voice can be heard returning his call.

"If you're here to see about the job from Vex, she's got something for you. For your friends.." he unhooked the link and stepped out of the way, "enjoy your night."

[Solork Tan]

Solork waits until they get the chance to get by the bouncer.

"You have another job going? Not that I'm one to talk..." Solork glances around the club. "What kind of club is this?"

[Varina Ordo]

"I dunno, it's a club where people go and do weird adult things." She looked over to a couple sucking face. "Weird people. They have homes to do that at."

At mention of the job, she shrugged. "That's right! I should talk to her about that later."

[Solork Tan]

"Adult...things? Ahh." Solork coughs and looks around. "I thought that involved more straps and swings. I am seeing enough gold clothing though."

Solork glances around. "Do we split up to look for the target?"

[Honor]

Inside the club was dark, lights flashing, and the center dance-floor was filled with people. Beautiful people and people who spent far too much on drinks to try and pretend they were beautiful people for a few hours, none of it really matter but to the people here it did. Booths were filled both sides of the club and a few near the dance floor.

Opportunities for where he could be.. were numerous.

[Roxi]

The conversation about adult things thankfully passed her entirely by, Roxi was too busy looking at the decor. This was *definitely* the sort of place she'd have to rob sometime.

"So..." she said after taking it all in for a few moments,"...where do we start looking? I'm guessing this guy thinks he's special enough to be in a special place, right? What do you call that? The VIP place? They have a VIP place, right?"

[Solork Tan]

would not have thought of that, but it makes sense. Maybe the team thing isn't so bad.

"Good idea. Let's start there"

[Honor]

Walking toward the back, they'd find a stair-way up toward the second level of the place. Which came back toward the center and hung over the dance floor below. In this area there are some booths neatly tucked into the wall and Mallory who stands outside Vex's office nearby.

They could certainly check, booth by booth, but it might take some while.. or try to get a look around first.

Roxi, unfortunately, wasn't the most perceptive type. Hopefully one of the others would have more luck.

"I guess this guy could be very important, but I've never heard of him, so..."

Varina wondered if it'd be weird to put on scanner goggles in here. She made the conclusion of yes, deciding to instead strain her poor eyes as she looked around for this guy.

Roxi, not being able to see much, accidentally even walked into another customer while she was trying to get a better view. Quickly, they started berating her for her "ineptitude" and blocked her ability from joining back up with her companions.

Varina, however, noticed the white of the hair of the man they sought. Straining her poor vision to do so. However, what she noticed wasn't just where their target was but he was, as she found him, standing up with his arms crossed. Talking smugly to some bigger man who was getting up in his face.

[Roxi]

"Hey man, like," Roxi wasn't sure why they were getting so upset, it was just a casual bump, "Sorry, I guess?"

She offered her apology, and started moving back to her companions. Assuming they'd let her, of course.
