Gathering Storm [Day 3, Late Evening]

Passing a group of young Kamdans who were menacing a security officer, clearly trying to provoke something, Az squeezed the grip of her truncheon. She was conflicted for a time, but remembered what Fuff and Jaxom had been saying. Damn it. Fine. Being responsible.

Five minutes later, the young Nautolan was squeezing her truncheon grip in barely restrained rage. At least, she seethed, I didn't pull it on those stupid kids.

The people of Kamda hold firm, but barely. Many of the people in the crowd want to tip the scale toward a more violent confrontation, one that would let their voices truly be heard. However, those that would hold them back far outnumbered, keeping those who couldn't be calmed back from where they could do damage and showing the spirit of unity the people of Kamda had.

However.. it all changed quickly in the hours that followed as the Imperial army arrived aboard a Star Destroyer under the command of Admiral Cerasin. With his forces landing in the city in massive numbers he quickly put down the protest. That they were so peaceful spoke in the fact that there were no deaths or serious casualties but still many people went home injured and some didn't get to go home but were sent off to jails instead.
