Kamda

Jyrvess sat down at one of the few remaining cafes, it was in a good spot. Far enough from the main street to not draw attention, but facing it so she can see anyone coming her way. The food was also...OK so there was that too.

She had just gotten a nice meal, with a large bit of desert: Corellian ryshcate! Well it said it was, but Jyrvess being from Corellia recognized the lack of Corellian whiskey and vweilu nuts...but it was sweet, there was something approximating nuts on it and she needed the comfort food.

Lysa had been spending the day getting ready for some real action tonight, the bright haired girl bounced into the cafe looking to grab something to eat to fuel up before it all went down tonight. She moved with a barely contained frenetic energy loud music with a heavy beat coming from earbuds that she dislodged when she sat at the bar.

Ordering a heap of greasy, heavy food the waitress eyed the skinny girl curiously as she ordered enough food to satisfy at least two people if not three. Lysa gave the woman a large grin "Well hey when you might die in a few hours better to go out with a good meal in your stomach!"

Jyrvess looked up at the scene of a hyper-energetic bombshell of a lady make her order. The librarian looked significantly less impressive with her rugged street clothes and mundane hair cut. She stared for a moment through her glasses with the end of a fork in her mouth. When Lysa glances her way, all Jyrvess can think to do is give a little nervous wave.

Her lack exotic plumage didn't seem to dissuade the bombastic young woman from sliding closer to Jyrvess "Hiya! Hows it goin? I'm Lysa You come here often? This place have good food? Can't say I've ever been here before just saw it and decided Hey! girls gotta eat ya know?" as usual when she was in a manic state her sentences flowed out without filter brain hopping from one point to the next with little respite for listener to actually answer until the trail of curiosity had found an end.

"I...have just chosen to eat here today as well," She says taking the fork out of her mouth, "I'm sorry, have we met before." Jyrvess was eyeing the much reduced space between the two and feeling a little invaded. "I'm Jyrvess Ertil...if you were curious."

She studied the impressive plate of food in front of Lysa. "Expecting someone?"

"Hey Jyrvess! I'm Lysa." she leaned closer squinting her eyes for a moment before leaning back and regarding the newly arrived food "Nah! I don't think we've met before, I'm not good with faces but I think I'd remember you. Pretty but not in like a really flashy way and very smart eyes always studying like everything is a textbook."

she dug into her food with gusto for a bit and then came up for breath with a large gulp "No just me, why do you ask?"

"Thank you? You are rather comely yourself in an...exotic sort of way." Her eyes widened a little as Lysa leaned in to study her face then relaxed when she sat back. "I was just...surprised at your appetite." She looked back down to her own smaller collection of food. "Though you seem to burn all that extra energy." A small smile tugged at her lips.

"Nice to meet you Miss Lysa."

"Awwww thanks Jyr." She said with her mouth half full of food. She swallowed "can I call you Jyr? I'm gonna call you Jyr."

"I've heard that before, oh you're so small, where do you put all of it, blah blah blah." She said as she continued to eat and she was indeed both a little on the short side and very skinny he body not having much excess fat from what Jyr could see "I just get very hungry sometimes and can eat a turbolift full of food someday and others I might forget to eat all day. I just sorta listen to my body."

"I'm not sure that is... healthy Miss Lysa." She says with a super sweet pastry sitting in front of her and looking a little skinny herself. "Jyr is fine I guess..."

"Wait...How do you forget to eat?" She asks, her brain having just finished parsing everything thrown at it.

Lysa shrugs "Dunno just dont get hungry I guess. My brain tends to focus on whats at hand and so if I don't get hungry I don't think about food."

"Hmm put that way I guess there were nights I nearly forgot to eat myself." She nods in thought. "May I ask what you do?"

Lysa grinned "I could tell ya but then I'd have to kill ya." She said witha little giggle "No I do some freelance work for a local business owner and some mechanic work on the side."

She looked at Jyrvess for a moment "What about you? I bet its something smart like a professor or an analyst or something!"

"Librarian...well formerly, now I guess if I told you I would have to kill you." She responds with a small smile, "No...I guess my current job is.... research assistant...no collater...well not right either...I just answer questions."

"Oh doesn't that like...get kind of boring? Unless you answer exciting questions."

"Hmm...I guess it does sound boring." Jyrvess blushed in embarrassment. She wasn't sure if she could say much about her activities... "Oh! Information like the best place to hit a giant crab monster. While it was trying to eat me."

Lysa's eyes got as round as the plates she was cleaning and she leaned back toward Jyr and didn't say anything for a minute then burst out "WHAT!? DID YOU JUST TALK ABOUT GETTING EATEN BY A GIANT CRAB!" She exclaimed "How? Where? why? what? Just like that sounds so freaking cool!"

Jyrvess leaned back, her own eyes wide and a moment of shock and 'please don't kill me' on her face, "Well...yes you see this Mandalorian and a Bounty Hunter talked me into helping them hunt down a giant sand crab. It ambushed us and tried to bury me...also incidentally letting me get a good look at it between gasps of breath and you know panic. Fortunately the Mandalorian pulled me out and then she and the Bounty Hunter killed it with a little help from my discovery of a weak spot."

"It was some sort of ritual for the two of them."

Lysa sat back and thought for a moment "A female mandlorian huh? If Raven hunted a giant crab and didn't invite me I swear I will fill her pillow case with firecrackers." she huffed and crossed her arms

Jyrvess blinked again, "Ah...um you know Miss Raven? But yes she was the one I went with, saved my life actually." She blushed a little, remembering her embarrassing need to be saved. "She is a rather skilled warrior."

Lysa nodded "mhm we took care of some hutt enforcers together and stormtroopers and more hutt enforcers and more stormtroopers!" she said with a strange amount of carefree energy for the topic "But she knows I'd love to fight a giant crab! big jerk."
