She gave him a rather confused look. "We're Mandalorians. Of course we're destined for greater things. Besides, that stuff... makes you sound like some kind of Jedi or something, talking about some weird Force-thing."

Tranq had spoken briefly of it, when fighting that crab the other day, but it didn't make a whole lot of sense to her.

"I meant like meeting you in particular. Was it destiny to meet you? Maybe it was..." He looks like he thinking really hard about math problem.

His face goes back to normal, for his. "Oh, no. I'm no Jedi or Sith, but I tested a pod-racer some years ago, and was looking how adjustments I made for acceleration work. Well, they worked, but the owner said something about only force sensitive can race them without crashing them... So... I haven't used force lightning or anything cool like that. But, I survived and so did the pod-racer, until driver crashed it during the race."

He looks straight in eyes of her, "I didn't lie or omit this to you, there is just nothing special about what I can do. But, I will you if I do later, I promise."

He starts looking like he doing in his head again. "That may be where my technological aptitude comes from, or at least enhances it..."

She wasn't quite sure if she believed in it herself, but Clay seemed to believe it, so she wasn't going to argue the point about how silly it was to believe in hokey-religions and all-powerful forces.

"Maybe. Or maybe you're just good at what you do? Don't need some Force-thingy to be good at something." Raven put a hand on his shoulder. "Just be careful though. The Empire hunts down people like you, who claim they have this kind of power."

Even more reason to stay away from the Imperial-aligned clans.

"Yes, dear." He says with a smile, and pats her forearm of outstretched arm.

More straight faced, "Now you understand why I'm hesitant with new people. Mandalore, Praxton and more scholarly Mandalorians met over the last week seem honourable. I didn't get much of a chance to chit-chat with the planning and such for the raid being the main focus."

"So, now you know all that I am." He looks her, "Can we keep this to us right now, please? The force stuff, that is..."

She raised an eyebrow at being called 'dear', but made no comment. She'd gotten very good at imagening that her face was as stoic as her helmet.

"Of course. It is your secret, and not mine to share."

"Raven, I know I'm just trying to get a rise out of you when I said something that to you." He puts his arm down.

Then he remember... "Ok, maybe this isn't time do that..."

"Thank you. It's best the fewest people who know about it, but I do want you to know though. With when can do naturally, I know I would end up being a brainwashed force assassin for the Empire. I can't stomach that, all the damage and lives... No, I will never be that..."

"I know, but..." she sighed, but gave an assuring brief smile to show she wasn't angry, "I'm pretty terrible with that kind of stuff. So I'm just gonna say, because I'm never sure if you're joking or not, don't get your hopes up."

She gave his shoulder a nudge with her closed fist. "Besides, bad manners to talk to your battle sisters like that you know."

He thinks a minute, then says, "I really didn't what to think of you when we first met. It was like meeting another part of me that I didn't know existed... So, it was weird for me. I know a may have made an advances your way, yes... But, it does feel like we are the opposite sides of coin. Like, we have similar, and a lot of the same goals and ideals. We've been going about things in pretty different ways. It was all kinda jarred. I'm wanting to me better. And, I think I might be too old for you."

"And, I'm know you've seen me around Jyrvess yesterday... As far as that goes." He gives her a smile. "I doubt anything will come of it. But, can't win if you don't try."

"Oh, but I still stand by my statement that you a beautiful warrior..." He smiles and winks at her.

"I don't think I am, but... uh, thank you, I suppose," she chuckled awkwardly. "I'll let you off without any punching for the compliment this time."

"Now. How's your training coming along? Still hitting the shooting range?"

"I'm really likely the C-10 Heavy Blaster Pistol a lot. At the shooting range, I was doing well, tonight... I think I hit target." He pulls my C-10. "I may can misaligned it, while prepping my gear." He looks at it for a second, then hands it be Raven. "Maybe I need a site for now."

Taking the blaster pistol, Raven looks it over. "It's not a bad one. Might be good to calibrate the beam some, make it more accurate. A new grip could help with the shooting too, one that's customized for your hand."

[Claymore Frost]

He seems to feel sad for minute. "Yes, I was already planing to doing that now that I have some free time." Then he starts thinking the thrill racing slicing have giving him. "Some times I wish I wasn't such an egghead, but I do love my racing machinery and computers."

He looks thoughtful. "And, I'm very glad that I was able to help you in your quest. Even if it meant I had to deal with a lot of bad memories of a past life on Arkania."

He comes back to reality. "Oh, sorry... Too many lines of thought right now. I should work on my shield too. But, I don't really know what I can do with it. I know shields are not your thing, but any thoughts would to appreciated."

"I don't have much experience with using shields, as you've guessed. It means I'll have an arm and a hand locked up with that with not enough flexibility to change weapons as needed..." she thought about it for a moment. "If you can make your shield be a weapon too somehow, that would probably be smart."

"Yeah, I never really used them either. Stealth is it's own shield. And, I can't been in too many fire fights like yesterday. I know it sounds bad, but my skills are better served else where. If I do my job, there is no fire fight. Maybe on our adventures can find some different materials that we can use." He says earnestly.

Then he starts grinning like an idiot. "Yes, you are my armorer apprentice now, and I will be your tech support and extra blaster. Totally not official or anything..."

"It will be what it will be if we share the battlefield again." The kind of stuff that Clay did seemed very different from her brute force methods.

She chuckled and shook her head. "Not exactly official, no. I haven't even agreed to any of that. As I said, my armor is my own, and... it is something I will work on myself. But, I do want to see you focus on yourself from here on, Clay. To prove your right to wear your own beskar'gam as made by the Forge-master. To become fully a part of the group."

[Claymore Frost]

"Oh, yes, I should have said Blacksmith. Or weapons smith. Sorry..." He's still smiling. "Well, I know your love your armor and all it means to you, but I'm very proud of my skills in that type of thing. So, it may dent my proud very proud armor anyone else make. But, we will talk of there if it ever were to happen."

"I don't doubt you're good, but you're not a Mandalorian Forge-master dedicated to one task." She gave his shoulder a solid pat. "Besides, beskar ain't a material that grows on trees."

"Anyway. I have things I need to do to get ready for tonight's offensive. It was... good to talk things out."

"Alright. I should get going with stuff upgrades too." He starts check if he's got everything he needs. "Oh, and Thank you for the time today. It really has meant a lot be me. I know... feelings..."

"I'd rather trade punches than talk about feelings," she said honestly as she got her gear together. "But, no problem, Clay. Just remember to focus on yourself too, yeah?"

"Yes, I will do that. I promise as a my friend and a soldier of Mandalore." He then looks he forgot something. "Oh, just wrong pocket... Still there. Ok, fight well. This is the way."
