Dug out of the ground and flattened out by the treads of the great mobile constructs of the Jawa this pit amid the sands offers a place of refuge and trade for the weary traveler. Most who come here are expected to walk out with at least something as the Jawa can be very persistent merchants.
It is also a clear remind to not leave a ship unattended out in the sands. Else-wise it might not be there when the owner returns.
