[Fuff]

After the party Fuff wandered a bit around aimlessly to lose possible tails (except his own) until he'd land back at Favna. As was typical of felines, he didn't ask for the owner but he waited for him anyway.

[Honor]

It was a little while yet, but Nerra eventually surfaced and made his way to the bar by Fuff as was their new typical. Setting himself up on a stool beside Fuff he rested his weary arms on the counter.

"Good evening, my friend," he said.

[Fuff]

"Good evening. How are things?" Fuff asked casually with a smile that ever so slightly let on some underlying stress.

[Honor]

"As ever, calm and relaxed at this hour, my friend. Last patrons filtering out and soon to retire to my own chambers, what of you?"

[Fuff]

"I was at the gala, and got kicked out because the guy I was talking to had some drugs on him." Fuff shrugged. "It was about time to leave anyway. I don't know why I went there in the first place. It's against my ground rules to get so visible when Imperials can take notice."

[Nerra]

"Sometimes we must break even our own rules to better ourselves and others. Getting yourself into such an event," he thought, "was it a good night despite your rudely forced exit?"

[Fuff]

"I wouldn't call it good." The cat mused. "But potentially useful. Tell me, has there been a mysterious disappearance of an Imperial officer lately?"

[Nerra]

"Imperial officers often come from off world, never leaving their little circles. Makes it hard to notice if one went missing. I couldn't say for sure, but then again that's something I shouldn't know anyway."

[Fuff]

"Of course you shouldn't." Fuff agreed, doing an act of self-reflection. Should he? "Hypothetically though, one's absence could actually make a mark if things became harder after their disappearance."

[Nerra]

"Certainly," he said, getting up from his seat. Making no mention of why or where he was going but the way he waited by the a far counter until Fuff stood and then walked into a back room was telling.

[Fuff]

Fuff indeed followed.

[Nerra]

Walking into a back room Nerra walked about a table, looking to a nearby bookcase that actually had some old-fashioned books on them and waited for Fuff to enter behind.

"Scary questions to ask in the public, my friend," he said.

[Fuff]

"Guess I need some training in protocol then." The cat said, having closed the door behind him. He looked at the bookshelf. "This is less public, I assume."

[Nerra]

"Little sound-proofing, not enough to silence a regularly held conversation from someone on the other side of the wall or door, but few walk so close to the door while my people are around," he said.

"Granting no worries from what you may bring up here, or I may bring up here," he said.

[Fuff]

"Well, I think I kind of figured out how stuff used to be done here not so long ago, and why the Imperials have got itchy feet across the planet lately, looking for something." Fuff shrugged, curling his tail around his leg. "But I don't know if it's sound to try to get details from you if you have any. You know, the less a cat knows, the shorter a cat will be interrogated, and the less reason to silence the cat after they've been caught. But I'd like to share a warning just in case you can make a good use of it: ISB is on it and after it. The man is called Alder Divo."

[Nerra]

"Alder Divo.." he sat with the name a while. "Divo," he repeated, stretched a bit. "Divo is a family name that inspires fear in quite a number, but awe in the Imperials. Well.. to the Imperials that care to know them at least. Much of their family has adopted into the Empire rather.. well. Most of the current generation have enlisted in one service or another. Alder.." he said, shook his head. "A name I will have to look more into. Yet, any involvement of a member of the ISB is surely one to be concerned over. For what you've offered today.. I thank you," he said, nodding his head.

[Fuff]

"Hope you can make a better use of this information than I." Fuff nodded, somewhat relieved that it didn't weigh on him alone. He didn't know about Divos and he hadn't learnt anything more than there were many and gave others reasons to be afraid of them. Not great credentials for him to want to have anything to do with them. "Also hope I can count on a favour when I need it?"

"Depends on the favor, friend," he said, nodding his head. "Whatever helps Kamda."
