Serving Drinks 1 (D1 ME)

[Dross Stargazer]

"I dunno. When will things normalize? Or what is even normal anymore?"

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"I think that is the question fore most on everyone's mind," Jyvress's eyes fell to her drink, "You ever feel like just running away? That maybe if you went far enough and fast enough you could stop?"

[Dross Stargazer]

"Maybe. But I'm not craftiness of people. On the run all the time. It's best to hunker down and wait until I knew where to go. If I was running of course." Smooth Dross. She will never figure anything is up.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyvress turned her glass, "It's easier to run from guilt then hide from it." He did have a point about her more material pursuers. "Sorry some old memories have been weighing on me lately. Don't know why I just chimed up about it."

[Dross Stargazer]

"I believe spilling your problems to the bartender is the right cliche." He gives the woman a smile before turning more sympathetic. "As far as guilt... well, I'm still trying to figure that one out myself."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"I wish I could help there, my only experience is it's pain. Dull aching pain." She remarked, "And yeah...I guess it is." A laugh came after her statement, the first amused one since the conversation had turned down its darker path.

[Dross Stargazer]

"Well, it's what I'm here for. Unburden you from your troubles. And a friendly chat." There was a little jokular sarcasm in his tone. Dross knows he's far from friendly.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"How is the bartending life? I guess you have collected quite a few stories....most unwillingly." She leans forward on the bar, pushing the discussion back away from her own past. She had brought it up of course...but only so far down that road before...

[Dross Stargazer]

"It's.... not as bad as I thought. Sometimes you hear an interesting tale. Most of the time, it's the same old, same old. I think my wife is cheating on me. I think my wife will find out I'm cheating on her. That was the same guy. Turns out, he was right about one of his suspicions."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"The lies one tells their self to justify their own actions." Jyvress nodded with a sigh, "But surely every now and then you get something strange or different. Anything so absurd you still can't help but laugh?"

[Dross Stargazer]

"Well, had a drunk in here claiming he was a Jedi. Couldn't do any of their tricks though." Dross chuckled. "I give him credit. He did convince people to pay for his drinks all night."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"Bold of him, personally wouldn't want the ISB or worse to have me on their radar." Jyvress shakes her head, "But good for him if he gets away with a few free drinks."

[Dross Stargazer]

Dross nods. "Well, if the Jedi were anything like that man, it's no wonder they were extinct. I can't imagine the ISB wasting it's time on him." Dross shook his head. "So, what about you? You see any strange things on your travels? "

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"I moved around too much to really see much," She shrugged, "I've seen some shady spacers though and learned they can be very creative with the phrase 'habitable quarters'. I was in one ship that I swear was leaking atmosphere. The captain assured me it wasn't but..." She taps the datapad, "About halfway there I got a warning off this thing. When we landed the Captain breathed a sigh of relief and whispered to one of his crew. I watched them do some suspiciously 'looking for leaks' type activity on the hull as I left the hanger."
