Kamda

A drug den. A party house. Manny was a criminal, but this wasn't his kind of place, not at all. Still, he was there.

He had a mission, after all.

Carefully, he approached, wearing casual clothing and a vapid expression.

Lysa followed not far behind her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket knives in her boots and a heavy blaster on her hip concealed under the jacket she wandered around with a bit of a smile as she followed Manny to the house.

Outside the building it just looked like any other run-down building with unhealthy people gathered around the entrance. Too skinny, types. Rough around the edges and liable to bite. Inside.. inside was a different story..

Hearing the music pour out from underneath a nearby door was the only way Mallory could tell she was in a small room. Bright lights were set up facing around her, giving her no sense of where she was or how long she'd been here. Licking her dry lip she felt the even drier blood and shifted in the chair as best she could, manacled to it as she was. Sitting upright she looked around only to find the shadow of the figure pacing around her.

"Could always just ask me to dance," she said, chuckling.

All she got for a response was another punch across the face, blood splattering the floor. Tasting the iron of it on her lip as it dripped down onto her red-stained shirt.

"You could learn to lighten up.. you know, give me a smile maybe? You ever smile?" she asked, looking up and around, trying to track him. Righting herself in the seat again.

"You know what I need," his voice came from beyond the lights.

"Look, I told you again, she doesn't want your num-" she's interrupted by him coming at her again with another swing of his fist. The hit throttled her against the chair and she groaned, panted, and then laughed before righting herself again. "Alright.. alright, I get you.. just.. do me one favor and I'll do you one?" she said, her vision getting blurry. Trying to keep a sense of herself was difficult. Where she was, who she was, what she was doing.

"What is it?" he asked, his patience worn thin.

"Just call my girl.. Hottest piece I've ever had.. things she could do with-" she said, looking for him again in the lights.

"How should I contact her?" he asked, entertaining it.

"Wow.. really? Don't know how to contact your own mother?" she was struck just as the question was asked and everything went back to dark again.

Manny frowned thoughtfully at Lysa. "Lookin' good. Just needs one thing..." He pulled out a stick of gum, handing it to her. "That'll make it perfect." He said, smirking.

"Okay, let's play it cool." He said. Manny tugged up his collar. Then, putting his arm around Lysa, he lead them casually up to the entrance to the house as though they just another two partygoers who belonged inside.

They didn't even get a glance as they would walk inside. Inside the stairs lead them immediately up, there was no other way. On that level it was straight into a den of debauchery. Flashing colored lights were the only source of illumination and beings wore bands of bright colored light. Some even seemed to have piercings that incorporated this vibrant liquid.

At the door a woman blew a kiss to Manny, and then Lysa, and then passed them by. Finding their way to the back would be time consuming to just get through the cloud.

[Music in this room, it's loud, very loud.]

Manny would feel a hand on his shoulder, and as he turned he'd recognize the person....although she hadn't been there before.

"Forgetting someone?" Leah said with a smirk. She had nearly not come herself, feeling completely out of her depth going in some kind of drug den to force Mallory out. There was almost certainly going to be a fight. Her gut though told her she needed to be here, and so she'd hurried over, making it just before Manny and Lysa went in. She took a moment to calm herself, and see if she could get an idea of what was inside. Trying to call upon her previous lessons, but it was too chaotic and noisy to truly focus.

Hearing the voice over the music emanating from the house she took the gum from Manny pooped it into her mouth and leaned in close to Manny's ear "looks like someone gets to look like quite the player tonight hmm?" she purred softly before tilting her head back to flash Leah a mischievous smile. Lysa was worked up for sure, she always got that way before doing something that might get her killed.

she slipped her arm around Manny "Let's get to it then you two."

Manny smiled warmly at Leah. "Hey. I'm glad you made it. Let's do this thing."

He looked from Leah to Lysa, and then back to Leah. After a moment, his eyebrows went back up. "Well. This is a pretty good night." He murmured, smiling.

After a moment, he cleared his throat. "Okay. She's probably stashed away in a secret room somewhere. Let's see what we can find. Act casual, take a look around."

"It's gonna be loud and distracting, so better make sure you can keep your focus" Leah said with a smile at the two, slipping into place next to them "guess Manny is the man with all the girls tonight!"

All around them the music was bumping, the dancers dancing wild, girls and boys making mistakes they won't soon forget and those they'll always cherish. However, this trio's goal was toward the back. Where the party seemed to settle and there was side conversations going on. Music wasn't quite as overpowering back here and the colored lights from the front barely reached back into the dim space.

When approaching however..

"Well..." Briefly, Manny had a pretty girl on each arm. I gotta do more rescue missions!

But the focus was on the mission. Grimacing at the dark, Manny put on his scanner goggles, but they didn't help...

Bumping into someone he looks down at Manny, finding the goggles to be incredibly strange.

Lysa notices the bathroom in front of them, behind Rook.

Manny looked up at the big guy.

"Hey, bud." He said, grinning. "Pretty good party, huh? I'm looking to get things really started soon." He opened his vest, revealing the obvious bag of drugs that he was carrying.

Taking the scanner goggles off Manny he looked down at him, "A man shouldn't look like a fool with beautiful women at his side," he said, and then walked off into the party. Notably, taking the goggles with him.

"He's right, the goggles really did look silly" Leah commented as the man walked off, having no idea what the goggles were doing

"Oof tough break hon." Lysa said as tall, pale and pointy walked away.

She looked to the bathroom behind the man being drawn to it "lets check that bathroom out.

"Those were new..." Manny grumbled.

He shook his head. "Nevermind. Something in there?" He nodded to Lysa. "Okay, let's check it out." He led the way in.
