[D10MM] Going Out With A Bang

[Lysa]

"Aww I'm sorry Leah I wasn't trying to keep you up, I was just thanking Manny for saving my life by getting the Mandos to rescue me."

She sat down next to Leah "besides if memory serves you liked the noises I make." She said with cheeky grin

[Leah kuso]

Leah sighed, opening her eyes.

"It wasn't what I was expecting after coming back last night is all. What's going on then, are you and Manny just doing it or you two like gonna start dating now?"

[Lysa]

"I told you, I was thanking him for rescuing me." She said with a giggle "and remember I'm not a relationship person Leah, but you know who I'd turn to if I wassss~" she said giving Leah a significant look

[Leah kuso]

"Then make sure he knows that. He's a simple soul Lysa, and I think he's the type to get attached. You're a pretty lady after all" Leah peeked at Lysa "although I think you two would be good for each other to be honest."

[Lysa]

"Im good Leah besides, I've only got eyes for one person in that department." She said with a wink and leaned in to kiss Leah's cheek "I am sorry if we disturbed you, truly. I just get carried away sometimes." Lysa's voice was uncharacteristically sincere and....was that embarrassment? Maybe just a hint.

[Manny Donos]

Manny came out of the bedroom, wearing boxers and a gravball jersey. He flashed the two ladies a grin, and tossed Lysa a jersey. "Hope you don't mind I'm wearing Antilles. But Sleebo's really good, too." Indeed, those were the two names on the jerseys, and the two star players in the Kamda City Manka Cats.

He went to the kitchen, put the frying pan on the stove... and then hesitated. "You know, I'm gonna give this a quick rinse." He said. He did so, running water over it.

As he rinsed, he glanced back over his shoulder. "So, uh, I miss anything? And good morning again, Leah." His smile was definitely apologetic.

[Leah kuso]

"Don't worry about it" Leah gave Lysas hand a squeeze "and really, think about it with him. He's not the worst."

Then Manny came back, and Leah shook her head.

"Nothing really, just some girl talk. Morning Manny. I heard you got yourself into some trouble last night."

[Manny Donos]

Manny set the frying pan on the stove. A bit of blue butter in it, and then he began cracking eggs. "Trouble? I don't know, I think I kept up pretty well." Manny said.

There was a pause.

Manny blinked. "Oh, you mean with the fight! Oh, yeah. Yeah." He cleared his throat. "Well hey, I told you that Trouble was my middle name. But... yeah. It was good, even if I got this." He turned back to show the rather sizable bandage across his chest.

[Lysa]

"Yeah! We killed a bunch if stormtroopers!" Lysa said excitedly and the Raven's Mando friends showed up and just started stabbing people. It was so intense!" Lysa looked at the jersey for a moment and shrugged slipping it on.

[Leah kuso]

"It sounds awful. Why was there so much killing and stabbing?" Leah said with a frown "why is there so much death here now? Is that what the Imperials bring? Kamda is going to get worse isn't it..." she sighed "I don't like it."

[Lysa]

"Well yeah, I mean they show up and just think they can tell people how to live take control of our lives. We aren't ok with that, we are going to fight back and show them this is our planet." she said with a little fire in her eyes

[Manny Donos]

The pan began to sizzle. Manny poked at it with a spatula a bit.

He looked back, his expression concerned. "I mean... yeah, pretty much." He nodded. "But hey. We're gonna make it better. I mean, a lot of people are gonna work at it. That's... what you gotta do, right?"

[Leah kuso]

"Are you two going to fight?" Leah asked, looking first at Lysa then at Manny "is this what happens now, Kamda goes to war?"

[Lysa]

"Leah I think you already know the answer to that question, at least for me. I know you don't like the fighting but I hope you'd support the rebellion in some way."

[Manny Donos]

Manny flipped the omelette in the pan.

"Uh... I don't know how much fighting I'll be doing. But I'm gonna be doing some stuff. More sneaky-type stuff. Maybe smuggling. Pretty much like a magic show, but for a good cause."

He looked back at the two, smiling. "Either of you wanna help with that? You're both awesome at magic stuff. It'd be great."

[Leah kuso]

"I'll...." Leah trailed off, looking down at her hands again "I don't know. There's a lot going on right now and I need to work out what's happening in my life. I will stand for Kamda though."

[Manny Donos]

"Yeah. Okay. We'll... hey, let's keep doing our magic in the meantime, huh? Keep the dream team going." Manny smiled at her. Then, with a flourish, he flipped the first omelette onto a plate.

"Who wants the first one?" He offered up the plate.
