A Little Info for A Little Pirate (D4 MM)

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"You should take better care of yourself," Jyrvess chides, "Street fights for a little money is no way to get ahead in life."

She frowns, "No need to risk your life for a few cheap thrills."

[Roxi]

"Hey, they're not street fights. There's a dome and pit and everything. It's legit!"

She seemed almost offended by the insinuation that she was doing some low level streetfights.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"I don't recall there being a Colosseum or the like on the planet...do they use the sports auditorium or theater?" Jyrvess blinked, she had seen professional fights before, and also didn't see Roxi as a professional fighter. Maybe in a backstreet with a ring of betting lowlifes and bare knuckled...but a referred match?

[Roxi]

"Well..." she was spilling the beans that shouldn't be spilled. But who cared? It'd be *fine*. Probably. "It's not technically *on* the planet."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"You are one odd girl...so where might this fight club actually be?" Jryvess smiled now, amused and expecting some truly bizarre story about fighting gundarks on the moon.

[Roxi]

"It's on the moon," she said, meeting her expectation halfway. After all, while she was *about* to fight a gundark on the moon, it hadn't happened *yet*. "It's... I mean I guess it's not the sort of a place a librarian gets to go to much. Pirates don't read much."

[Jyrvess Ertil]

Jyrvess's smile fell as the realization hit her, "Oh...I see." She was unaware of pirates on the moon, but such was not uncommon in the galaxy. "That doesn't sound particularly safe."

[Roxi]

"Well, they did try to kidnap me and *force* me to fight. But we came to an arrangement instead. We had a very good parlay."

Roxi's own smile, in contrast to that of the other woman, remained firmly in place.

[Jyrvess Ertil]

"So you...were enslaved to be a gladiator, but some how bargained them down to being a paid gladiator?" Jyrvess rubbed her forehead now, "Ms Roxi, this isn't something you have to do...I mean you could just be more cautious on what you walk in to."
