It took all morning to find it. Jaina's directions were fine, but Jaxom had never been out here. This should be the right place, though.

Jaxom found a humble house sitting on a hill, to either side there were fields of crops carefully tended. This place felt pleasant and green.

He had never felt so out of place. He looked around as he walked up to the house. Not seeing anyone, he knocked on the door.

[Honor]

Answering the door was a man, a Chiss, his red piercing eyes would seem a bit unsettling but his warm white smile offered comfort. "Hey.. you're not our usual guest, what brings you out all this way stranger?" he asked, leaning in against the door frame.

"Jaina sent me." he answered, wondering again if this was the right place.

[Honor]

There was a brief flash, his eyes went wide and he quickly looked over his shoulder and called into the house, "Hun!" he shouted. Looking back he didn't seem to know what to do with his hands, flustered, and then quickly opened the door.

"Please," he said, urgently, "please come in. Jaina sent you? Is she alright?" he asked, his voice matching that same tone, that one only a parent who was worried could really master.

"She's fine. She's safe." he nodded.

[Honor]

That did little to relieve him, but he seemed to take a moment and breathe in deep. "Ok, alright," he said, leading Jaxom inside. Where there was another man, a big lethan Twi'lek with a farmers cap on.

"Jaina? Is our girl alright? We haven't heard from her, but Nerra told us what he could," the jolly old giant said, not so jolly but still big.

"She's a great girl, doing what she did." He said. "Hiding was hard for her. She knew she was going to lose a lot. She knew she wouldn't see you. But, she's not on Kamda anymore. She's not in danger anymore. She's somewhere safe and free."

"Yea.." they both said, simultaneously. Then it was the Chiss who started speaking, "We've always been proud of her. Taught her well.. maybe too well. Never did take a liking to seeing other people get hurt just.. guess, well, sometime it was bound to happen. I'm just.. we're just glad Nerra was there to help her. We're glad you were there to help her."

He reached into a pocket and took out the necklace.

"She asked me to bring you this."

[Honor]

They both held silent with it's reveal. Between the two it was the lethan Twi'lek who reached out to take the necklace into his big hands, "This is.."

"A gift," the Chiss said, "one we got her for her sixteenth birthday. Said she hated it, we thought she threw it away."

"I don't know much about kids, but I remember being like that. I tried my hardest not to be like my father. Looking back, I can see how much like him I've always been." he sighed. "I wish I'd had the chance to tell him how proud of that I am."

[Honor]

They both shared the moment, but it was the Lethan Twi'lek who spoke first next, "Share dinner with us," he said, his voice strong. "We'll have it early if you have to go, but you shouldn't leave without a full belly at least."

"There are things happening tonight." he shook his head. "In the city and above. People are going to need help, people like your daughter. I need to see what I can do for them."

[Honor]

"Let's set you up with something then.." the Chiss stood and quickly moved to the kitchen. Pulling things from their fridge-ration unit and putting together something of a snack-pack. Good food, good food for him. "It'll give you the energy you need," the Chiss came over and put it in Jaxom's hands.

"Take it.. be well, and know that if you ever need anything you can come to us," the Chiss said.

"Thank you." he took the offering. "Stay inside tonight. You should be safe out here, but it's best to be careful."

[Honor]

"We will, we have our other daughter to protect.." he said, solemnly. Now they had the laborious duty of informing her that her sister won't be home for a while.

"I don't know if I'll see her, but if I do, is there anything you'd like me to tell Jaina?" he asked.

[Honor]

"Just that we love her," they replied, though only one spoke the words it didn't change the meaning.
