"We'll watch out for them." he promised. "We're almost ready. I got a good look at the ship."

[Jaina]

"Cool.." she said, looking out to the horizon.

"Mind if I just chill here for a bit?" she asked, but she wasn't totally finished with everything she had to say, he could see the statement forming by the look on her face.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Do you mind if I keep you company?"

[Jaina]

"Sure.." she said, looking out to the horizon for a while. Finding herself with some time before needing to she made use of it. Eventually though, she worked up the gusto, "Sorry.. by the way. For running and making you come after me. I just.. I couldn't risk asking and I couldn't leave without saying goodbye, ya know?"

[Jaxom Ursae]

"I understand. Honestly, I don't know if I would have allowed it if you had asked." he admitted. "I'm glad you got the chance to see her, though."

[Jaina]

"Yea, she deserved to know at least.." she said, "you know.. my folks are out there. Wayyy out there. Small farm. They're good people.. I'll miss them, while I'm gone.. when all this blows over, well, I'll come back, come home."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"If you want to leave some messages for them, or anyone else, I can get them to them." he offered.

[Jaina]

"Nah.." she said, thinking about it.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"What about Max? Is there anything you'd like me to do for her?" he asked.

[Jaina]

"Just.. let her be," she said, looking pensive. "I broke it off so she can move on, don't.. don't need to add to that anymore," she pulled up a much bigger stone and tossed that one out as far as she could.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"Alright." he nodded. "Now, what about you? I'm not sure what the options are, but I'm not going to let him just drop you off on some random world with nothing. What do you want to take with you? What else will you need? What would you like to do wherever you end up?"

[Jaina]

Jaina didn't answer for a while, but it was clear she was thinking. Thinking really hard about what she'd ask for, if anything.. "What is it like to fly?" she asked, suddenly looking over the horizon. Higher, to far up above.

[Jaxom Ursae]

"I don't really know." he shook his head. "I've only been up there once, when I came here. But, that was incredible, even under the circumstances."

[Jaina]

"I'd like to fly," she said, some underlying certainty in her voice.
"That'd be pretty cool."

[Jaxom Ursae]

"I'll see what I can do." he grinned. "Do you need anything for the trip?"

[Jaina]

"Nah," she said, shaking her head. Pushing herself up onto her feet she brushed off her pants.

"I'm done here, ready to go when you are chief."

[Jaxom Ursae]

He looked out at the natural world for a moment longer, then stood up himself.

"Yeah, let's get you back."

They'd walk back, chatting.
