Day 2 LE: Doctoral Rodeo!

This was the adress given: the adress of an eccentric odd colored shack stuck between two concrete appartment buildings. The unpretentious habitation used to be a mechanic's shop years ago but the old sign had not been repainted in years and was barely legible.

Beside a large garage door there was a small one, probably conected to stairs leading up.

Tosath, had his pack on and approached. Before entering he pulled out his comlink and contacted B-B0p. "Doctor Nazora here. I'm at the door to the location you gave me. I'm here to see your boss."

[B-B0p]

''Roger roger!'' the droid replied ''This unit is comming down.''

A few seconds later the smaller door opened, droid in sight.

"Good evening B-B0p. If you would please introduce me to your patient?" he says with a smile to the droid.

[B-B0p]

''This unit's boss you certainly mean'' he corrected ''He is finishing dinner right now, please come up.''

[Tosath Nazora]

The Arkanian gave a nod then followed the droid up the stairs to meed with his boss. When he entered the room, he nodded and greeted the man. "Good evening."

Once upstairs he would find an aging man, hunched over slightly as the years weighed him down. Slowly he was moving the fixtures of his meal from their respective places and onto a plate, "Ah.. hello there," he said shakily.

"Please.." he said, gingerly moving toward a nearby table with his plate. "please come sit with me a while."

''Boss, this is doctor Nazora'' the droid began ''Doctor, this is this unit's boss''

[Tosath Nazora]

"Sir. A pleasure to meet you. I am Doctor Tosath Nazora. I was informed by B-B0p that you might benefit from a doctor's visit. I volunteer down at the shelter, but I work regularly with the KSF. I'm glad to be of assistance if I can," Tosath introduced himself.

[Honor]

"Ahh," he said, as he sat down. Something of a groan from the effort and an acknowledgement of the words in one. Looking back up weakly he smiled, "Please then," he said, tapping the table and raising a finger meekly toward a chair next to him. "Sit for a while.."

Tosath moved to the offered chair, setting his pack down next to it before sitting himself.

"So you're a prospector then?" the Arkanian asks with a smile.

[Honor]

"I.." he looked over to B-B0p, "I was once, with the help of my dear friend here," he smiled at his oldest and truest friend.

[B-B0p]

''This unit and his boss are still officialy designated as such in the city's records. The Boss is still thus recognised as a prospector.'' he droid chirped

[Honor]

"Ah.." he said, his voice lowering somewhat. "I do so often.. forget.." he looks toward B-B0p with a rueful smile.

[Tosath Nazora]

Looking at the old man, he chuckles. "You still are, even if you're not practicing anymore. I'm sure anyone so inclined to learn how to prospect would be able to learn a great deal from you. And you can't teach someone to do something that you don't know how to do. I'm sure that B-B0p here wouldn't be much of a prospector if it weren't for you."

''This unit's knowledge of prospecting has been all generated by this unit's boss'' he said approvingly

[Honor]

"You are both kind," he says wearily, smiling as he looks between the two and rests his gaze on B-B0p.

[B-B0p]

The droid stood to attention

"Yes sir?"

[Tosath Nazora]

"It's not just kindness, itt's truth. Programming, building and upgrading a droid may be a lot different from raising a child or teaching a student, but it has the same effect of leaving your mark on the world and passing on your knowledge. Even if it doesn't feel like it so much anymore, you are still a prospector. I'm guessing you have been for most of your life, just as I've been a doctor and will always be a doctor."

He looked to Tosath, "You do much to ease an old man's worry," he laughed, coughed, and then chuckled. Relaxing himself. Back to B-B0p he smiled again, "I look on you sometimes.. and though we never had our chance to raise a son together.. at least in some way we have you. You'll always be a good droid.. won't you Bebop? Always do your best to do good? As she would have done.."
