Sheathing her weapon, Raven picked up the guy's lost vibroknife and hurried back to Praxton and Tiroc.
"He's gone..." she said, not quite sure how the news would be recieved that she hadn't managed to kill the opponent.

"As is Tiroc," Praxton said, knelt beside the man and still holding his hand clasped against his chest.
Removing his hand from Tirocs grasp he began to place each of the man's hands over his chest, "You have a good spirit Raven. I am sorry that I was not there to support you in chasing our enemy. That he escaped falls onto me alone."

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
She grimaced underneath her helmet, cursing herself for not having acted sooner for them to save Tiroc. "... I should've just chased him off instead. So I could return quicker to help save Tiroc." The adrenaline of the fight, and the want to prove herself had gotten the better of her at the start there.
There was a moment's silence before she spoke again. "We should hurry back to Dex, and get her back alive." It would all be a pretty useless day if both were lost today.

Resting Tiroc's body down, he spoke a silent vow to return for his brother later. "Do not dwell on it, Sister, he was gone before even I was at his side. There was nothing that could be done, their fight had been long and brutal and he succumbed from many injuries."
"Let us not allow his sacrifice to be in vain, as you say," he says, packing up what supplies he had out. "I shall return for him when the foundling is safe."

It just wasn't fair. It wasn't fair that one of their numbers would die, and the Saxon cur would live another day. She nodded in agreement, with a tension in her body as she wasn't able to not dwell on it for now.
She'd have to improve so much more to be able to face that opponent again... mostly it was luck that had been on her side a few times, she felt.
"... I had hoped they wouldn't find us here. But word travelled all the way to the Saxons too, I guess..." she confessed as they got on the move back to Dex.

"It was only a matter of time that they would discover us, and our Enclave is well hidden.. for most. However, with our active recruitment it is not a surprise that word has reached back to the Saxon's. Yet, that they have sent a killer to hunt us already.. when we return I will have to brief Mandalore of this at once," he said.

"Mm." She wondered if there was going to be some safety measures they would take, maybe something like moving in pairs or curfew, or maybe always letting people know where you were going. Being part of a larger whole again was a somewhat new experience to get used to.
As they moved, she often looked back to check if they were being followed or if she could hear the sound of a speeder.
Hopefully, they'd be safe, and Dex would be safe. This morning had started out bloody enough for her.

They remained safe all the way back to Dex, who was sitting up against the wall with her eyes closed. For a moment, they feared the worst, but she groaned something fierce from the boredom and tension of all the waiting when they neared. Which, sparked enough of a reaction from Praxton to cause her to open her eyes.
"Oh, you're back, about bloody time where's... where's Tiroc?" she asked, her voice trembled slightly but she held it firm. Dex already knew the answer.

"I'm sorry..." Raven said, somewhat awkwardly as she wasn't quite sure how to offer comfort in this moment. "He's gone, but we remember him."
Her voice was a little strained as she spoke again. "Let's get you back to the enclave."

"Yea," she said, turning her face away and biting a lip.
Through a combined effort the two of them would be able to help Dex back to the speeders. Returning together to the spot the got the speeders from they hid them well and continued on toward the Enclave. It was a solemn ride, a solemn walk. When they returned Praxton directed Raven toward the infirmary where she could bring the Foundling. Meanwhile, he went immediately to Mandalore's side and informed him of the mornings events.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
"Right. Come along... princess," Raven teased very very gently, in hopes of lifting the mood somewhat as she helped Dex to the infirmary.
Maybe whoever was there could take a look at her own boo-boo too while there.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
"Hey," Dex snapped, "if you're gonna call me princess you best be ready to carry me like one, ya got that?" she said, weak smirk.
When they made it to the infirmary they found it was little more than a clean room where they stored supplies. They weren't alone, however, and at one end the Mandalorian marked in Orange was tending to his own wound. When they entered he didn't even look up from the delicate work he was doing on his arm.

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Raven chuckled a little in return. It seemed the joke had done its job. She adjusted Dex's arm over her neck, and with careful movements lifted the foundling up to carry her like a proper princess.
Considering most of what Raven had seen of 'infirmaries' on ships, this was an upgrade. It was decidedly cleaner, after all. She looked around for a place to set down Dex first, and then looked around to see what was on hand... was Orange the Doc here, or was it a free for all?
"Brother," she spoke up softly, "what happened?"

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
There was a blush as the foundling was certainly not expecting Raven to act on it. After a moment, she found her courage and flaunted it for the rest of the way to the infirmary. "Thank you," she said, meekly when Raven got her onto a cot.
Anything one might expect in a ships medical bay was here, with a large assortment of Stimpacks and medi-gels. In a corner they appeared to even have a Bacta-tank that they scrounged up from somewhere but no Bacta.
"Cadera," the Mando marked orange replied, "got caught spying on the Imperials down by Beinirk. Caught by a beast, that is. Cat-like, double tail, coat of pure white. It was a beautiful beast and I hoped to claim it, hunt it, it deserved a hunter of my caliber." Finishing a suture he looked to the Foundling, "Is that not Tiroc's? Where is the bastard?"

Something about it nagged at her thoughts, but Raven figured it could wait.
"He's with the Manda now," she said at first. Kriff, I don't know how to use half this stuff. Stimpacks at least should do it? "... A Saxon did it."

"I hope Praxton got a chance to say hello to the old family then," he said. "Knew sooner or later they'd come for us, always did. Shame for Tiroc, he will be remembered, but he should have been alongside us when we went to kick Saxon's hind instead of only in our memory."

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Raven had discovered the true reason why these Mandalorians wore their helmets most of the time. This way others couldn't see the surprised and derpy expressions on her face when she kept being surprised.
"Mm," she nodded in agreement, kind of at loss for a proper response now and busied her hands with finding some stims for Dex. "... You don't happen to be a medic?"

"Nothing proper," he said, finishing up with his own wound. Using a knife to snip the thread as he never removed his mask.
"I could do some work, though. Learned through the old method of trial and error. Not sure the point in helping the foundling, better leave them off to some hospital. Without their sponsor," he shrugged. "None to train them."

Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
Now that was just going to far. She didn't slam her fist into a table but it was obvious she nearly did. "Is that what you think Tiroc would've wanted? You think this group's numbers can grow with such callous attitude?"
Re: Haat, Ijaa, Haa'it (Day 2, Early Morning)
"Just the truth, Cadera," he said, callously unfazed.
"H-hey! I earned my place here, and I'm not about to give it up when some bloody bastard comes and kills one of the few who've done me a good turn," Dex joined in, shouting a bit.
"You need a sponsor, whelp, and you don't have one. None to take you on, none to give you training, your business is done here. Got i-" he was cut off when the door opened to the infirmary once more.
Praxton, knowing he walked into something, looks between those gathered. "Dredgen, something going on?" Praxton asked, but Dredgen remained silent.
