"Whatever they lost must've ticked off the sarge enough to ask for us to come back," Raven snickered underneath her helmet, reminded of how prickly the Imperial officer had been.

"Sarge was very uppity... Not to mention uptight." Claymore thinks about wanting another session of target practice. And the session with Raven yesterday. He enjoys the chance to be around his chosen people.

"The Sargent doesn't like non-humans." Tranq was quiet in his conteplation with the group. The spear blaster was kept stowed across his back, his scanner goggles over his eyes. Rolling his shoulders back, the Karkarodon stuck close with the group.

When they would approach, the Imperial Research Base would be manned by only a small squad of four troopers outside. Ones prepared for desert combat. They seemed to be waiting for the hunters in order to bring them to the Sergeant.

Solork nods at the group of stormtroopers. "The Sargeant should be expecting us"

"She is," the stormtrooper replied. Ready to bring them all inward. Through the station and to the same room where they found the doctor prior. Only this time they saw him through the glass and he wasn't alone. Inside, the sergeant and two other of her men stood watch over him. Entering the room one of the men spoke with the sergeant who looked up to see the same motley crew as before.
Walking with some haste she exited the room, "One of you, with me," she said, walking down the hall.
Her other men still beside the group would only allow one to walk with her.

Solork looks around, not seeing anyone else stepping up. He continues on with a shrug. "If you don't hear from me..."

"Then I'll commence orbital bombardment from my capital ship. Got it," Raven said dryly, clearly joking.

"I'll send flowers to your grave..." laughing at Raven. "Or whatever they do when there is no body..."

The sergeant lead Solork to the surveillance room where she invited him to look at one of the readouts. "Now, watch," she said as she offered Solork a seat at the desk.
On the screen it is the video feed of the inside of the storage room that they'd been shown prior. Two stormtroopers enter and then quickly gather what they need to transport cargo out of the room. One pushes the others shoulder as they seemed to goof off with one another.
"Those supplies are now missing, what's worse is that those are not my men. Whoever they are, they acquired not only access to the storage room but access to our uniforms. Out back some of my men identified a trail, it appears, that was used to bring the shipment somewhere else. Now go, find it, and earn your pay."

The Karkarodon would whistle, if he could. But with the way his species evolved, it wasn't possible. Instead, he looked about the room and the others. He brushed something off the shoulder of his armor, and patiently waited.

"That's an excellent lead. Do you have any idea how they managed to disguise themselves or get past the guards?" Solork looks back to the others.

Raven gives Solork a wave from the window.
"Think they're gonna shoot him?" she asked the other two.

"Nah." He looked to the Mandalorian, shaking his head. "Not in there, anyway. Dioxis gas, maybe. I think those bucketheads can filter it out." There was a dark chuckle.

"They want their stuff back, so they can't do anything until then..." He says sarcastically.

"No," the sergeant answers. Bringing Solork back to his group, then guiding them all toward one of the back exits. Allowing, then, for Solork to explain everything as it had transpired.

"A trail huh? Well then... that's certainly more to go after than before." She wondered what they might find, based on yesterday's findings.
Raven looked for this trail that had been found, casually taking out her hunting knife.

There was a clear trail at the outside of the base, however, the shifting nature sands made it hard to follow naturally. Still, it hadn't had a storm or anything recently so perhaps there was still some hope..

Raven had to take her time, carefully scanning the ground and getting close to see where the trail went. However, the extra effort she needed to put in paid off as she could tell there were about five pairs of boots moving the box on some sort of repulsor-sled. Raven could tell they were moving north, but not just north, once they got to the top of the hill they changed their direction and moved directly west from where they are now.
Perhaps their investigation last time was discovered, or whoever it was knew to be careful.
