Since the previous day hadn't yielded much, it was back to the grindstone for some more work on this stinkin' Imperial assignment.
----
OOC: And if this is a bit too late in Day 3, I guess we can always make it Day 4?

"I am really for some investigating." He checks his gear another time.

"Remember, no making the sergeant look bad." The Karkarodon chuckled, bracing his equipment again. He would hold his tongue about the sergeanrs views.
For now.

"I don't know if there is a way we can be competent without making them look bad" Solork chuckles. "Where do you suggest we begin?"

"Might find something scouting the area. Signs of transports or people that aren't the troopers. If it isn't an inside job, that is." Raven sighed, giving a shrug. "If we want to pursue the matter of investigating inside the base, we probably will have better luck trying to talk to that science-guy on his own, without the sarge around. He might be more sensible on his own."

"But, Imp's like to have they tour guides so no one says anything they 'aren't' supposed to..." as he tilt he head a bit up and to the left. "They need to control the narrative."

Around the base there seemed to be a number of dunes, blocking it from view all around. Little in the way of anything to track, but perhaps a venturing search outward might reveal something.
[This is fine for Day 3!]

"True," she agreed with her fellow Mandalorian. "Which is why next time we go in there, we need to try to take control of the situation. Not let them run over us."
Shielding her visor with a raised hand, she looked out away from the base. "Let's go hunting, and see what we can find?"

"Indeed, let the hurt continue." He looks around the team.

"I suppose that a sweep could not hurt. If anything, the lack of an escape path is more sign of an inside job."
(Survival or Skullduggery?)

Moving toward the top of a dune, someone could make a perception check for spotting out likely spots that someone might wait or move the resources to if they'd robbed the place.

Out in the wastes Claymore could see a few other areas that might fit the description they were looking for. A cavern sort of area that would give cover from the storm, but one of them did appear to have something that somewhat looked like a lookout. However, the one without the lookout further to the north appeared to go deeper and may even have enough room to hold cargo for a time.
Tranq see's the same cavern that Claymore noticed the "lookout" by and is able to determine that it is indeed just some type of cactus-like plant.

Raven was looking more towards the Imperial base, trying to get an impression of possible entry points from the outside now that they had a vantage point to look out over the area.
Her thoughts was mostly elsewhere, alas.

"Well, I think I found a few spots to use for recon." He starts gesturing where to go.

Though her thoughts were elsewhere, Raven's knowledge of warfare could certainly come into use pointing out how silly it would be for a lookout to be that visible out here in all this sand.

"Could be a trap..." she remarked sceptically. "Pretty visible to spot. Be wary if we approach."

"Just cruise the desert all casual like. There's nothing to be suspicious about four heavily armed beings just walking the dunes, right?" He felt confident about the cactus, and chuckled to himself. Still, he drew his weapon, just in case, and took point to head towards the further cave.
