Sand Crawlin' (D4, Mid-Morning)

"That's.. a hell of an idea," the leader said, looking to Solork. "They don't necessarily know what happened out here, right? You bring me in, my troopers stay behind to back us up.. we could get in before they hurt the doc or figure out why we're there. Maybe even get a chance to take down their comms."

[Raven Cadera]

"They shouldn't know." It was possible they were watching them, but it seemed unlikely to her that they had been tracked or bugged.

"It's so crazy it just might work."

[Tranq Sayzin]

"Wait, are we saying we walk in, have our 'prisoner' in binders, walk 'im in, and then spring a counter ambush?" Tranq looked amongst the group. He then started laughing. "You're right, it is crazy. But I'm excited about this plan, I'm glad to be a part of this plan."

That feeling in the pit of his stomach, though. Of trusting Clones again. They didn't know that he escaped the betrayal, and as far as anyone was concerned, he was just a Bounty Hunter. His eyes fell on the commanding Clone again, narrowing them. "What did the Empire do to you. Other than start using conscripts and true believers to fill those buckets."

Every clone to a man looked to Tranq at the question, each one had the answer burning in their heart, but as was only right it was the leader who answered, "We fought and bled for the Republic. We were happy to, alongside our Commanders, the Jedi Master Meyra Allusis and her young padawan Cartess Kenotte. We've never been able to understand how, or why, but the Empire did something to them.. our brothers," a breath. "We fought for Kamda against the clankers and we won for Kamda. When we were set to go to our next conflict we returned from an op to find all our brothers turned on the Jedi. When we questioned the orders? They turned on us too."

"It was like they just.. flipped a switch. Completely different people.." one of the other clones commented.

"I'll never forget that day.." another, commented as he looked down and held his fist tight.

"We were forced to fight or die.." he glanced to the brothers that stood with him. "Our squad was a few men larger on that day, but we're the only ones who made it out alive. As for the Jedi.. I.." he shook his head and looked down, "I.. I don't know."

[Solork Tan]

Sol pauses. "They never stopped hunting the Jedi, or anyone who might aid them. There are monks on another planet who used to support them. The Empire...decided they needed to go.

He takes a deep breath. "I am not doing this for vengeance. And, we do this right, I will have fulfilled my obligations to a letter. But if a rescue happens to have a happy side effect..."

[Raven Cadera]

All this talk of Jedi and Republic didn't really concern her, and she had no qualms about betraying the Empire at all.

"I'm ready to do this when you are. But when this is done, there's something I do want to talk about... it can wait though."

[Claymore Frost]

"I'm ready." He takes his hand off Raven's shoulder, and does a quick check for his blaster and holsters it. "Let's roll."

"Let us get our supplies back, set ourselves up and tend to a few bruises. Give it some time to make those troopers back at the base think this was a hard-fought effort besides, lend some credence to your story," he said. Giving his troopers a signal, some of them watched the creature while the others prepared to roll out.

[This is certainly going to lead to a combat, so, given the timing.. this is the best way I can think of to postpone it to current time.]

Tranq felt... confusion. A switch was flipped? Some didn't follow that order? That didn't make sense. After all, All Clones were Good Soldiers. Good Soldiers follow Orders. That was the line, right? He shifted the spear-blaster back onto his back, listening to the story of how it went down, for them. His frown showed displeasure, concern, and... confusion and empathy.

That would have to be a conversation for another day.

"Alright. So the plan is to hit them... the day after tomorrow, yes?" Raven focused on the task at hand.

"Me and my men will be ready by then," the leader confirmed with a nod.
