With the blaster fire impacting against the hard shell the creature stirred, raised itself slightly and prepared itself. With it's big claws and many legs it seemed to rear before smashing.. no, digging down. Digging deeper and deeper, quicker and quicker. Raven, Tranq, Solork, all of them are quickly being pulled into the center of the pit and no longer finding purchase with their feet.
"It's trying to pull them in! Troopers, get them a hand!"
Acting fast the clones drop their weapons on their spots, finding somewhere to hold onto as they reach out to help those trapped inside the pit.
Everyone within short range is pulled inward one move-band per turn. Everyone who is caught inside of engaged for 2 turns begins to suffocate.
Characters may attempt to get out via a Hard Check:
Athletics - Throwing themselves toward the edge and pulling themselves out
Coordination - Utilizing their body to shift and turn themselves out, getting themselves free of the trap and to safety.
Prone characters receive a setback to this check. Characters inside the engaged range at the start of their turn cannot move.
All trapped characters receive a boost from the Clone's assistance.
