Mallory groaned, her eyes opened half-lided as Lysa undid the manacles. Though her body was weak, and she barely seemed to register who anyone was or what was happening.

Mallory, manacled to the chair, was sat in the center of the room. A clean room dirtied by repeated beatings, from the look of it. Shirt stained with blood from various days of the week. Looking almost like she fought her way through hell and then wound up here.
