"Well.." she laughed, "that was a bust, I hope you have a plan B?" she chuckled. Danger, risk, it was one way to process it for sure.

Yea," she said, "let's blow this place," she said, hopping down and walking over to Jaxom. "Leading the way?"

"Nah," she said, shaking her head. Pushing herself up onto her feet she brushed off her pants.

"I'm done here, ready to go when you are chief."

"I'd like to fly," she said, some underlying certainty in her voice.
"That'd be pretty cool."

Jaina didn't answer for a while, but it was clear she was thinking. Thinking really hard about what she'd ask for, if anything.. "What is it like to fly?" she asked, suddenly looking over the horizon. Higher, to far up above.

"Just.. let her be," she said, looking pensive. "I broke it off so she can move on, don't.. don't need to add to that anymore," she pulled up a much bigger stone and tossed that one out as far as she could.

"Nah.." she said, thinking about it.

"Yea, she deserved to know at least.." she said, "you know.. my folks are out there. Wayyy out there. Small farm. They're good people.. I'll miss them, while I'm gone.. when all this blows over, well, I'll come back, come home."

"Sure.." she said, looking out to the horizon for a while. Finding herself with some time before needing to she made use of it. Eventually though, she worked up the gusto, "Sorry.. by the way. For running and making you come after me. I just.. I couldn't risk asking and I couldn't leave without sayi...

"Cool.." she said, looking out to the horizon.

"Mind if I just chill here for a bit?" she asked, but she wasn't totally finished with everything she had to say, he could see the statement forming by the look on her face.

"I just want to know my family and friends are home safe, especially Maxie, she didn't deserve any of this and.." she hid it well, but she'd been hurting with it a lot too, "well.. she didn't deserve for me to leave her like that. Just.. what had to be done."

"I know," she said, "I know.. it's all for the best, really. Got to thinking about it.. it's the right thing to do, to go away. Helps keep my family out of the fire, Maxie too. It's just," she tosses another rock, "it's whatever.." she said, looking out to the plains. Green grass, blue sky. "Ya know?"

"Yea... whatever.." she said, tossing another rock without watching it this time.

"Yea.." she said, shaking her head. Picking a piece of wall off next to her and tossing it down below, watching how it fell and looking to see if she could find it in the grass.

"She deserved better.."

"Only you this time?" she asked.

"Oh, right," she said, slipping Tosath's jacket off and handing it over to him. Grabbing hers in the same moment. "You uh.. anyway, thanks."

"Uh.. thanks?" she said, when accepting the information from Dross.

"Yea.." she said, siding up next to B-B0p, ".. wouldn't want to give off that impression," she scowled.

Looking up to the droid she furrowed a brow, "Hey, anyone ever call you Bebop for short?"

"R-right.." she said, she seemed about to argue for a moment but stopped herself. Slipping her jacket off she slipped Tosaths on, pulling her hair up into a ponytail instead with a tie she had in her back pocket.

"Come on, let's go," she said, holding her arms low over her chest.

"You're right," she said, pointing to the doctor, "You're right but like.. I don't really know about that, they weren't me, and the droids the only one here making a real lick of sense if you ask me," she looked then to Dross, "Right, try to scare the girl who's probably already scared witless, nice...
